Genshin Impact 3.0 introduced the last piece of the seven elements system, Dendro. However, we don't have many options for characters from the element for now.
Therefore, Collei is a crucial character in the current meta as one of the few carrying the Dendro cause to the battlefield.
With that, we have designed a Collei Build Guide to maximize her potential and use your resources in the best way possible to strengthen the Dendro favorite in your roster.
Who is Collei?
Collei is a young Forest Ranger. A victim of Fatui Experimentation, Collei battles against a chronic disease under the protection of Tighnari.
Strengths
- With Dendro Reactions dominating the current meta and with only two Dendro Supports Collei plays a very important role in new teams.
- Collei's Support capabilities escalated very well with Constellations, and players can get her for Free in Genshin Impact 3.0 and Spiral Abyss 3.1
- Collei is a support that can work in many different team compositions.
Weaknesses
- Collei Elemental Burst has a very low Dendro application.
- Low Energy Particle Generation, required Energy recharge in her build.
Best Weapons for Collei
Collei will work well with F2P options but the weapon she uses are highly contended by other characters.
Rarity | Name | Stat | Ability |
---|---|---|---|
5-Star | Elegy for the End | Energy Recharge | Increases Elemental Mastery by 60.
When the Elemental Skills or Elemental Bursts of the character wielding this weapon hit opponents, that character gains a Sigil of Remembrance. This effect can be triggered once every 0.2s and can be triggered even if said character is not on the field.
When you possess 4 Sigils of Remembrance, all of them will be consumed and all nearby party members will obtain the "Millennial Movement: Farewell Song" effect for 12s.
"Millennial Movement: Farewell Song" increases Elemental Mastery by 100 and increases ATK by 20%. Once this effect is triggered, you will not gain Sigils of Remembrance for 20s. |
3-Star | The Stringless | Elemental Mastery | Increases Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG by 48%. |
Elegy for the End
- The 5-star bow will enhance the support capabilities of Collei, providing extra Energy Recharge.
- If you have the weapon sitting in your inventory, it will have great use in Collei.
The Stringless
- Elemental Mastery is the most important stat in Dendro Teams, therefore the only bow with EM as a secondary stat is contested by many characters.
- It is the best F2P option for Collei but if you are running teams with Fischl, K. Sara, or Diona the bow is better with them.
Other Options
- Collei will benefit from the use of Energy Recharge weapons, Favonius Warbow and Sacrificial Bow are good options with 3 or more refinements.

Best Artifacts for Collei
Build | Set 1 | Set 2 | Stats Needed |
---|---|---|---|
Best in Slot | Deepwod Memories | Deepwood Memories | Sands: EM or ER - Goblet: Geo DMG - Circlet: Crit. DMG or Crit. Rate |
Substitute | Gilded Dreams | Gilded Dreams | Sands: EM or ER - Goblet: Geo DMG - Circlet: Crit. DMG or Crit. Rate |
Deepwood Memories
The best artifact for Collei is the four-piece of the new set Deepwood Memories that will decrease the Dendro DMG resistance of enemies by 30%.
Other Artifacts sets with outfield and support boosts can work with Collie, like Gilded Dreams, Emblem of Severed Fate, or Noblesse Oblige.
But, we recommend spending your Resin in the new domain Spire of Solitary Enlightenment, and getting the new Artifacts.
Artifact Stats
Elemental Mastery is the most important stat for Dendro Characters and Teams, however, Collei might run into Energy Problems, so ER is the second priority.
Best Team Compositions
Role | Character | Element |
---|---|---|
Main DPS | Fischl | Electro |
Sub DPS | Kokomi | Hydro |
Elemental Reaction | Collei | Dendro |
Support | Sucrose | Anemo |
Collei is given for Free, so players can experiment with Dendro reactions and teams, therefore she can be used as support in many new teams.
We consider that Collei will shine the best in teams that focus on Hyperbloom and Quicken reactions.
Keep in mind that other Dendro characters most likely will be better than Collei but we are not getting new characters of this element for at least a couple of months.
Quicken or Hyperbloom Teams
The team is based on producing constant reactions with Electro, Hydro, and Dendro elements boosting the Elemental Mastery
Deepwood Memories the new artifact added to Collei will provide a crucial buff to this team.
Main DPS
- Fischl is the big winner in Genshin Impact 3.0, her Electro Application is perfect to generate Spread and Quicke Reactions.
Sub-DPS
- We can add an extra Electro Character as a Battery, and other buffs. Yae Miko and Kuki Shinobu are very well in this position
- Kuki adds healing to the team and Miko more DMG output.
- For Hyperbloom teams, Kokomi Hydro Application will generate a lot of reactions in a short period of time.
- Nilou seems will work very well in this team.
Elemental Enabler
- Collei is necessary for this team to produce Dendro Cores that will react with other elements.
- We recommend applying Dendro first and then Hydro or Electro.
Support
- Anemo characters are a great addition to this team, considering Dendro Reactions will be absorbed by swirl.
- Sucrose is the best option considering, that her cooldowns work very well with Kokomi and Fischl.
- Kazuha and Venti are very viable options.
Collei Talent Build Priorities
Collei's Damage Output is impressively low while she is in the field. Therefore, players need to focus on leveling Collei's Elemental Abilities first.
- First Talent Priority – Elemental Skills
- Floral Flush is the most consistent Dendro Application in Collei's Kit. It is recommended to use the ability immediately when it is available.
- There's no need to Crown this ability, so you can save your resources.
- Second Talent Priority – Elemental Burst
- Trump Card Kitty is the main source of damage for Collei, however, the Dendro application is not very good.
- Increasing the level up to 6 is good enough, and a couple of extra levels are ok if you have extra resources.
- Third Talent Priority – Normal/Charged/Plunged Attacks
- There is no need to increase Collei's normal attacks, as she is largely just in the field to spam her abilities to produce Dendro Reactions.
