Genshin Impact 3.0: Release Date, Banners, Events, & Latest News

The Genshin Impact adventure is moving to Sumeru, the land of Nahida the Dendro Element, for the last piece of the Elemental Reactions puzzle.

We can expect tons of new content, with a new map, new enemies, characters, and stories.

Here is everything we know about the upcoming Genshin Impact 3.0 update, including its release date, banners, and all the latest leaks.

LATEST - Genshin Impact 3.0's Final Event

We are hours away from the last event of Genshin Impact 3.0, Tablet Analytics, in which players will help Hajanad a Sumeru Alchemits with his research.

The last event of Genshin Impact is an all-out combat challenge where travelers can use trial characters to beat three rounds of challenges.

With the help of the Remelting Device, travelers will obtain Remelting effects that will buff their teams in Battle.

Completing the 4 challenges with a high score will grant players a Serenitea Pot Furniture, Primogems, and Talent Materials for Sumeru characters.

A new challenge will unlock every two days and the event will have a follow-up Quest called Controllable Explosion available on September 21, 2022.

Genshin Impact 3.0 End Date

The version 3.0 patch is coming to an end, with the last event and the broadcast of the Genshin Impact 3.1 Special Program on Friday, September 16, 2022.

Genshin Impact 3.0 will come to an end one day before the second anniversary on September 27, 2022.

Genshin Impact 3.0 Primogems Guide

Version 3.0 will be very rich in terms of new Free Primogems, considering we have a lot of new quests, chests, and achievements.

We have calculated the Primogems available for players in Genshin Impact 3.0:

• The total final count for F2P Primogems in Genshin Impact 3.0 is roughly 9450 Primogems + 14 Acquaint Fates.
• For those players able to clear the Spiral Abyss with 3 stars on each floor, they will get 14850 Primogems
  • The amount of Primogems guaranteed a 5-star character.
• By investing in the Welkin Moon and Battle Pass players can reach almost 20k Primogems.

Genshin Impact 3.0 Banners

Genshin Impact 3.0 will introduce four new characters, three from the Dendro Element and one Electro. Additionally, we will have 3 reruns.

First Phase Character Banners

• Viridescent Vigil will feature Tighnari - a 5-star Dendro Bow Character.
• Gentry of Hermitage will feature the rerun of Zhonglu – a 5-star Dendro Polearm Character.

The following 4-stars characters complete the banner.

• Collei - 4-star Dendro, Bow User
• Fischl - 4-star Electro, Bow User
• Diona - 4-star Cryo, Bow User.

We have four characters from the same weapon for the first time. Although, they have very different playstyles.

Weapon Banner

The first weapon banner will feature the new 5-star bow Hunter's Path the Signature weapon for Tighnari and the Polearm Vortex Vanquisher.

Second Phase Banners

For the second half of Genshin Impact 2.8, we will have two reruns, one from Liyue and one from Inazuma.

• Drifting Luminescence will feature the rerun of Kokomi - a 5-star Hydro Catalyst character.
• Adrift in the Harbor will feature the rerun of Ganyu - a 5-star Cryo Bow User.
• The following 4-stars characters complete the banner:
  • Dori - Electro, Claymore User
  • Sucrose - Anemo, Catalyst User
  • Xingqiu - Hydro, Sword User.

Second Weapon Banner

The second weapon banner will feature two reruns. The 5-star Catalyst Everlasting Moonglow and the 5-star Amos' Bow.

The following 4-stars complete the second weapon banner:

• Favonius Greatsword - Claymore
• Eye of Perception - Catalyst
• Rust - Bow
• Sacrificial Sword - Sword
• Dragon's Bane - Polearm

Dendro Traveler

Travelers will get for Free the Dendro Traveler, in order to unlock this character players need to Worship the Statue of the Seven in Sumeru.

Sumeru Map for Version 3.0

Genshin Impact 3.0 is a big one in terms of the game's map. We are receiving an entirely new nation with new teleport waypoints, chests, and quests.

Sumeru will be released in parts, the map above shows the areas available in Genshin Impact 3.0.

Here is what we know so far about the Sumeru Map:

• Most of the territory is covered with mountains, valleys, rivers, and rainforests, but there is a part of the Desert that will be released later.
• There will be 4 Statues of the Seven and a bit more than 40 Teleport Waypoints.
• Sumeru will have a tree like the Grand Sakura in Inazuma, Vanarana the Tree of Dreams.

Sumeru Fishing Association

Additionally, Sumeru will bring back fishing, with the Sumeru Association, which will have a store with the following items:

• End of The Line, 4-star Bow, and its 5 Refinement Materials.
• A new Aquarium for our Serenitea Pot.
• The Fishing Stabilizer Gadget and a New Bait.

New Enemies and Creatures in Sumeru

Genshin Impact 3.0 will introduce new versions of already known enemies and some brand-new foes alike.

• Electro Regisvine
  • The Regisvines are flowers that grow to colossal dimensions.
  • Ascension material: Thunderclap Fruitcore.

• Jadeplume Terrorshrooms
  • The Jadeplume Terrorshrooms is a prehistoric peacock, with strong legs made out of ancient mushrooms.
  • Ascension material: Majestic Hooked Beak.
    • Majestic Hooked Beak is an ascension material for Collei & Tighnari.

• The Eremites
  • Common enemies that look like tomb looters, with shiny swords and daggers.
    • Drop Materials: Faded Red Satin, Trimmed Red Silk, Rich Red Brocade
• Floating Mushrooms
  • Flying Mushroom that travelers meet in The Chasm: Underground Mines.
    • Ascension materials: Fungal Spores, Luminescent Pollen, Crystalline Cyst Dune
• Ruin Gargoyle
  • Abyss automaton that resembles a Gargoyle with a new arsenal of new missiles.

Sumeru Weapons and Artifacts

We will receive 6 new Free Weapons and one 5-star Bow:

• The Fishing Association bow, End of the Line.
• There are 5 new craftable weapons from the Dendro Region. To get these 4-star weapons, travelers need Midlander Billets.
• The last weapon will be the 5-star bow Hunter's Path. The bow will have Crit. Chance as a secondary stat.

New Artifacts

Genshin Impact 3.0 will introduce the Domain of Blessing: Spire of Solitary Enlightenment, with two new artifacts sets:

• Gilded Dreams
  • 2 Pieces – Elemental Mastery +80
  • 4 Pieces – Within 8 seconds of triggering an Elemental Reaction, the character with this set will receive two types of buffs.
    • +14% ATK for each character of the same element up to 32%
    • +50 Elemental Mastery for each character from a different element up to 150 EM.
• The effect can be triggered every 8 seconds and will continue even when the character is no longer in the field.

• Deepwood Memories
  • 2 Pieces – Bonus Dendro DMG +15%
  • 4 Pieces – After Elemental Skill or Burst hits enemies, the targets' Dendro Resistance will be reduced by 30% by 8s.
  • The effect can be triggered even when the character is not in the field.

All Genshin Impact 3.0 Events

The journey of the Traveler and Paimon to meet the Dendro Archon starts in version 3.0.

New Story Quests

• We will start a new Chapter of the Archon Story: Truth Amongst the Pages of Purana with not one but two Archon Quests.
  • Chapter 1: Through Mists of Smoke and Forest Dark
  • Chapter 2: The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings.
• Additionally, Tighnari's story Quest: Vulpes Zerda Chapter – Act I

Main Event: Graven Innocence

Genshin Impact 3.0 main event will combine world exploration and a story quest, Collei is the main character.

• Acara Crafts is a toy store in Port Ormos, in Sumeru. They are preoccupied with the hindered development of new toys.
• The event will be divided into 4 parts:
  • Snapshot
  • Challenging
  • Racing
  • Reactions.

Rewards: Free Collei, Serenitea Pot Toys, Free Primogems, and Ascension Materials.

Lost Riches Rerun

• Lost Riches is the rerun of the exploration event, in which travelers are part of a Treasure Hunt with the company of a treasure seeker, Seelie.
• While searching for treasure, you might encounter difficult challenges that might be easier with teammates.

Rewards: Dendro Seelie, Primogems, Ascension Materials, Mora.

Tablet Analytics

• Hajanad a Sumeru Alchemist is doing experiments with their Remelting Tablets, the traveler will help by using them in combat.
• In Tablet Analytics is an all-out battle event where you can use trial characters to beat three rounds of challenges in 7 trials.
• The event will introduce the new Talent Materials for Sumeru Characters. The tablets will replace the books from other regions.

Rewards: Primogems, Talent Materials for Sumeru characters, Ores & Mora.

Fayz Trials

• Battle event with 7 timed stages, each stage with infinite waves of mobs with a fixed team of 4 trial characters
• Defeating enemies charges up a snapshot skill. Immobilized both players and the mobs until a picture is taken.
  • Taking a photo will release a powerful AoE attack, hitting the weak points of the opponents.

Rewards: Primogems, Ascension Materials, Weapon Materials & Mora.

Genshin Impact 3.0 Spiral Abyss

• Version 3.0 will mark the debut of the new Sumeru Bosses, the Electro Regisvine, and the Jadeplume Terrorshroom.
• The Eremites will replace the Treasure Hoarders, and the Floating Fungi will also show up in some chambers.

Blessings of the Moon:

• Phase 1: When a character triggers Quicken on an opponent, the enemy DEF is decreased by 35% for 10s.
• Phase 2: After characters deal DMG with a Dendro Core, their ATK will be increased by 15% for 8 seconds.
  • The effect stacks up to 4 times and can be triggered once every 0.1 seconds.
