Genshin Impact 3.0 Tighnari: Abilities, Constellations & Gameplay REVEALED

Recent leaks have revealed the character abilities of the first 5-star Dendro character in Genshin Impact.

Tighnari is a botanist from Sumeru with a personality similar to Albedo. Additionally, he is the second male character with animal features in his body.

Based on his kit, we can see similarities with Ganyu and Yoimiya, but without further ado, here are the details.

Release Date

Tighnari reportedly will arrive in the first banner of Genshin Impact 3.0 that will go live on August 24, 2022, along with Collei.

Additionally, it is expected that Tighnari is joining the Standard Banner pool after his first feature.

Who is Tighnari?

He is an Amurta researcher from Sumeru's Akademiya, besides being a botanist he serves as the leader of the Forest Ranger. Tighnari mentors Collei.

Tighnari has ears and a tail similar to the Fennec Wolf, a crepuscular fox native to North Africa.

Tighnari's Abilities in Genshin Impact

Based on his skill set, Tighnari is the first Dendro DPS character. Tighnari's DMG output will increase based on his Elemental Mastery.

Normal Attacks: Khanda Barrier – Buster

Tighnari performs 4 consecutive shots with a bow, he has two levels of Charged Attacks.

Perform a more precise Aimed Shot with increased DMG. While aiming, the power of Dendro will accumulate on the arrowhead before the arrow is fired.
Has different effects based on how long the energy has been charged: — Charge Level 1: Fires off an arrow carrying the power of flora that deals Dendro DMG. — Charge Level 2: Fires off a Wreath Arrow that deals Dendro DMG. Upon hit, the Wreath Arrow will create 4 Clusterbloom Arrows that will track nearby opponents automatically and deal Dendro DMG.
Plunging Attack
Fires off a shower of arrows in mid-air before falling and striking the ground, dealing AoE DMG upon impact.

Elemental Skill - Vijnana-Phala Mine

Tighnari throws an object that deals ranged AoE Dendro damage and generates a field where enemies get taunted. The skill will reduce the cooldown of Charged Attacks.

Description
Tighnari throws a Vijnana Stormheart ahead that deals AoE Dendro DMG, creating a Vijnana-Khanda Field that creates mysterious illusions that taunt opponents and draw their fire.
Passive
Tighnari gains the Vijnana Penetrator effect, which will decrease the next Wreath Arrow’s charging time by 2.4 seconds. This effect will dissipate once the skill duration ends, or up to 3 Wreath Arrows.

Elemental Burst – Fashioner's Tanglevine Shaft

Tighnari gathers the power of all seeds and fires arrows that track down nearby enemies, dealing Dendro damage.

  • Duration: 12 seconds
  • Energy Cost: 40 Particles
Elemental Burst
Combines the power of all seeds to fire 6 Tanglevine Shafts that can track opponents and deal Dendro DMG.
After they hit, the Tanglevine Shafts will create a secondary wave of Tanglevine Shafts that can also track opponents and deal Dendro DMG on hit.

Passive Talent

Displays the location of nearby resources unique to Sumeru on the mini-map.
