FIFA 23 is being taken over with World Cup content, with the new World Cup Mode out via DLC and the Path to Glory promo about to kick things off in Ultimate Team.
Because of the coverage the World Cup will gain in FUT, a load of new players will need to be added to the mode for the nations to have fully authentic teams.
Check out all the new players added to FIFA 23 Ultimate Team for the World Cup campaign below.
All New World Cup Players Added
According to Fut Scoreboard, an account that mines the FIFA 23 code to reveal newly added content, 251 new players will be coming overnight!
Many of the players are from leagues not covered in FUT, or may not have been included in a certain club that is.
As the official World Cup squads are announced, some more players may make their way into FUT.
Take a look at the Tweet above to review all the new additions, as we highlight some of the best players coming to the game below.
Best Additions
The Brazil national team selection has seen some of the best cards coming to FIFA 23 Ultimate Team and these will also be the most sought-after.
Goalkeeper Weverton is the joint-highest-rated of the batch added, with an 84 OVR.
Then there is another return to FIFA for Dani Alves with an 80 OVR given to the 39-year-old, +2 on his rating in FUT 22 when he rejoined Barcelona.
A very popular player in the FUT community, we could see Dani Alves handed a special card such as a Flashback version too!
Another Brazilian who could get an additional special card is Hulk, currently playing for Atletico Mineiro, and given an 81 OVR.
Due to his powerful build, he could be a very meta forward and may meet the criteria for the Lengthy AcceleRATE archetype, new to FIFA 23.
Giorgian de Arrascaeta is the other joint-highest-rated player on 84 OVR, with the Uruguayan CAM currently playing for Flamengo in Brazil.
His Uruguay teammate Edinson Cavani - 82 OVR - will also make a comeback to the game and is another who could gain a Flashback upgrade.
Jason Denayer will surely prove a popular addition too, with the Belgian CB having the crucial mix of pace, power and defensive ability to make him a favourite in-game.
