Official Premier League ratings have been revealed ahead of FIFA 23, with the brand new game set to arrive at the end of this month.
As with any rating reveal, there's been plenty of discourse surrounding the players that deserved higher overalls.
With that in mind, let's take a look at the madness surrounding goalscoring behemoth Erling Haaland and how he's failed to make it into the Prem's top 10 players.
FIFA 23 Erling Haaland Robbed
Erling Haaland has made a mightily impressive splash in the Premier League since joining Manchester City, with back-to-back hattricks against Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest certainly endearing him to his new fans.
However, despite that fine form, the Norwegian goalscoring machine appears to have missed out on making the top 10 Premier League players in FIFA 23, with an 88 OVR not enough to break into the pack.
In fact, Haaland hasn't received any boost this year, maintaining his 88 rating from FIFA 22.
Some may be surprised, but we don't think it will be long before the former Dortmund man is cemented within the top 5 players in the Premier League.
Premier League Top Ten
If Erling Haaland hasn't made the top ten, who has?
Prepare yourselves, as some controversial names certainly make up the best of the bunch in England's top division:
- Kevin De Bruyne (90 OVR)
- Mo Salah (90 OVR)
- Virgil van Dijk (90 OVR)
- Cristiano Ronaldo (90 OVR)
- Heung Min Son (89 OVR)
- Casemiro (89 OVR)
- Alisson (89 OVR)
- Ederson (89 OVR)
- Harry Kane (89 OVR)
- N'Golo Kante (89 OVR)
Other notable absentees from the Premier League's top 10 ratings include Manchester City star Joao Cancelo, who proved himself to be one of the most formiddable players in the league last season.
In fact, despite their terrible season, Manchester United have as many players in the Premier League top 10 as the current title holders.
