LATEST - Great Eight
With the official ratings now coming in, we have eight stats confirmed for Barcelona.
Robert Lewandowski (91 OVR) and Pedri (85 OVR) have been joined by Marc-Andre ter Stegen (88 OVR), Frenkie de Jong (87 OVR), Sergio Busquets (85 OVR), Jordi Alba (85 OVR), Memphis Depay (85 OVR) and Jules Kounde (84 OVR), who all make the Top 25 La Liga players.
These match the leaked ratings supplied after Xbox One users gained full access to the upcoming game for a limited time thanks to a typical EA blunder.

- Lewandowski (91 OVR)
- ter Stegen (88 OVR)
- de Jong (87 OVR)
- Busquets (85 OVR)
- Jordi Alba (85 OVR)
- Pedri (85 OVR)

- Pique (83 OVR)
- Dembele (83 OVR)
- Raphinha (83 OVR)

Top Players
It was a trophyless season for Barcelona in 21/22, although their league form in 2022 did mean they finished 2nd in La Liga.
In what will go down as a fairly disappointing campaign, Barca's late form should see several young stars earn upgrades in FIFA 23.
Robert Lewandowski (OVR 91)
Despite being in financial dire straits, Barcelona is still making plenty of moves in the transfer market, with one of the world's best coming over from Bayern Munich to the Catalan club.
Robert Lewandowski had another phenomenal campaign but has seen his rating drop from 92 OVR to 91 OVR for reasons we don't understand.
Marc-Andre ter Stegen (OVR 88)
German goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen was one of FIFA 22's top goalkeepers, but he has got a downgrade this time.
Barcelona's number one was rated 88 OVR in FIFA 22's latest squad update, and that is how he will start life in FIFA 23.
Frenkie de Jong (OVR 87)
Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong was strongly linked with a move away, but while he remains a Barca player he will keep his 87 OVR.
The 25-year-old boasts all the attributes of a quality box-to-box midfielder and should be hugely popular early on in the FUT 23 cycle.
Transfers
Barca's financial woes have been well-documented, so it is surprising to see them splashing the cash this summer.
It's been risky business, making sure they balance the books by offloading many players.
Their star signing is without a doubt Robert Lewandowski, but they have improved in all areas of the pitch, picking up some free transfers along the way, including Franck Kessie and Andreas Christensen.
New Signings:
- Robert Lewandowski (91 OVR)
- Jules Kounde (84 OVR)
- Franck Kessie (84 OVR)
- Raphinha (83 OVR)
- Andreas Christensen (82 OVR)
- Hector Bellerin (OVR 79)
- Marcos Alonso (OVR 79)
Permanent Departures:
- Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (OVR 85)
- Philippe Coutinho (82 OVR)
- Neto (81 OVR)
- Miralem Pjanic (OVR 81)
- Dani Alves (77 OVR)
- Martin Braithwaite (OVR 76)
- Oscar Mingueza (74 OVR)
- Riqui Puig (74 OVR)
- Moussa Wague (71 OVR)
- Rey Manaj (OVR 71)
Upgrades
While none of Barcelona's more experienced stars look set for an upgrade next season, their youngsters do, including a massive one for teenage sensation Pedri.
22-year-old centre-back Ronald Araujo is also leaked to be in line for a big upgrade in FIFA 23.
Downgrades
After a turbulent season, it will be no surprise to see some of Barca's older stars taking a hit to their FIFA 23 rating.
Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba have both been downgraded, with Gerard Pique leaked to follow, with all reaching the twilight of their careers.
