FIFA 23 is still a few weeks away from release - or so we thought!
In another classic mistake from EA, it appears that Xbox users can download the FULL game right now!
Check out all the latest on the situation below.
Out the Blocks EARLY
FIFA 23 isn't even out yet but we have already experienced our first major blunder of the new game.
On Tuesday, 30 August, at around 7am ET / 12pm BST, Xbox users were able to download the full FIFA 23 game.
Surely it is only a matter of time before EA fixes this, so we suggest that if you're an Xbox user to get on it right now!
There could still be many changes coming to the game, but this will definitely give you a good feel of what's to come, and you can also check out the preliminary ratings that have been handed out.
Change at the Top
We should start off by saying that these ratings could change before full release, so they should be taken with a pinch of salt.
However, it does give a clear indication of what EA has in mind ahead of FIFA 23, and there is plenty of change coming at the top of the table.
Currently, there are five players who all sit on a 91 OVR rating, with Kylian Mbappe, Karim Benzema, Kevin De Bruyne, Lionel Messi and Robert Lewandowski all battling out for the crown.
This marks the first time in over a decade where Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo aren't the outright best-rated player in the game, showcasing a change in the footballing landscape.
Worldie Wonderkids
The leaked ratings will have been getting many fans excited, with the top players becoming much sought-after in Ultimate Team.
They also let Career Mode fans start planning their future signings, with many promising young players gifted high ratings.
Vinicius Jr (86 OVR), Phil Foden (85 OVR) and Pedri (85 OVR) are the pick of the lot so far, and will surely have the potential to become some of the best cards in the game.
We already knew these guys would come at a premium, but their costs are likely to be even higher with such great base ratings!
