Wolves FC has now firmly established itself as a Premier League club, but reaching the next level has proved difficult for the Wanderers.
So, have you got what it takes to take Wolves to the very top and challenge for major trophies in FIFA 22 Career Mode?
Team Rating
Wolves has a 4-star rating in FIFA 22.
The breakdown of the ratings is as follows: ATT 78, MID 79, DEF 78.
Starting Lineup and Formation
The 4-3-3 (attacking variation) formation is most suitable for Wolves in order to get the most out of their many quality attackers.
The different 4-3-3 variations can be used depending on your own personal preference.
Starting with the main man upfront, Raul Jimenez. Despite not being a 'meta' player, Jimenez can provide goals if you wish to keep hold of him.
The three creative players who will hopefully provide both goals and assists for the team are Pedro Neto and Adama Traore on the wings, with Daniel Podence in the number 10 role.
Giving the team defensively stability in midfield are Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho.
In the full-back positions, we've gone for Nelson Semedo and Rayan Ait Nouri, whilst Willy Boly partners Leander Dendoncker in central defence.
Jose Sa is the man between the sticks.
Tactics and Instructions
With number nine, Raul Jimenez being the main target up front, we want to maximise his goal threat.
So, instruct the striker to Stay Forward and Stay Central to give him the best possible chance of a sight at goal.
In order to utilise Adama Traore's pace, we want the Spaniard to Get in Behind the opposition defence.
Right-back Nelson Semedo is the more attacking of the two full-backs, so instruct the Portugal international to Overlap, whilst keeping Rayan Ait Nouri on Stay Back While Attacking.
Make sure you instruct your two defensive midfielders to Cover Centre and Stay Back While Attacking, or you may leave yourself vulnerable to the counter attack.
Development Plans
When it comes to developing youngsters, there are a few players to focus on within this Wolves squad.
We would recommend converting Adama Traore (POT 81) into an out and out striker, as he fits the meta much more than Raul Jimenez.
This would also mean bringing Francisco Trincao (POT 85) off the bench and onto the wing, to develop alongside Pedro Neto (POT 85) into a truly top-class pairing.
Ruben Neves (POT 87) has the potential to become one of the best holding midfielders in world football with a few years of training.
Portuguese striker, Fabio Silva (POT 83) is another really exciting young talent who can fill the number nine role in the long term.
Transfer Market
Starting budget: £39 million
Who should go?
There are a fair few players in this Wolves squad who do not fit the meta and can be considered as 'dead wood'.
Unfortunately, the captain, Connor Coady (OVR 79) is one of those, along with Romain Saiss (OVR 78), Fernando Marcal (OVR 76) and Jonathan Otto (OVR 80), who can all be sold, which should free up around £60 million for player sales!
We would also let Raul Jimenez (OVR 83) leave too, as he is entering the latter years of his career and can be replaced by the converted Traore upfront.
This sale will generate a further £30 million!
The following youngsters can also be sold as their potential rating is not high enough in FIFA 22 to challenge for a first-team spot:
Conor Carty, Raphael Nya, Pascal Juan Estrada, Meritan Shabani, Michael Agboola, Bruno Andre Cavaco Jordao
Loans
Fabio Silva (POT 83) is one of the most promising youngsters on the books, so a loan spell early on could do him the world of good.
Having said this, you may want to keep the Portuguese youngster as an option from the bench.
Ki-Jana Hoever (POT 80) and Yerson Mosquera (POT 81) are both promising young players capable of becoming Premier League quality.
The Wanderers already have several players out on loan too, with Ruben Nascimento Vinagre (POT 85) and Morgan Gibbs-White (POT 81) the ones to keep an eye on.
Who to sign?
Once player sales are out of the way, you should have over £100 million to spend on new signings!
The main area where the squad needs improving is in the central defence, with no top quality players currently in the squad.
Our top pick would be Bayer Leverkusen's Edmond Tapsoba (POT 88), who will set you back around £40 million.

Inter's Nicolo Barella (OVR 89) is our favourite in this position, as he fits the FIFA 22 meta perfectly and can develop into a world-class player.

Board Expectations
Wolves looks like the dream job in FIFA 22, with the board expectations being as low as any in the Premier League!
Brand Exposure, Youth Development and Domestic Success are the most important targets for the board, but these are only a medium priority.
The board have assigned Continental Success and the Financial targets as low priority, so you don't need to stress too much about these.
