FIFA 22: French trio TORMENTING the Ultimate Team community

A Wissam Ben Yedder. The name still sends shivers down the spine after two years of torture facing the Frenchman in FIFA Ultimate Team.

His pace and agility made him almost impossible to stop, leading him to become the pantomime villain of FIFA 20 and FIFA 21.

FIFA 22 has seen some new contenders for most loved/hated players in the game though, and you know you are in trouble when these guys are lining up for the opposition.

Off you pop

A FIFA 22 Reddit thread entitled "If you got to delete one player from FIFA 22, who would it be?" has piqued our interest as to who the most hated players are in this year's game.

We must caveat this by saying they are hated only by being impossible to play against, to the point of frustration so severe you now hate a player you probably have never seen play before!

As mentioned above, Monaco striker Wissam Ben Yedder has previously held this title, but his time has passed and there are some new contenders for the crown.

So, without further ado, who would we like to see removed from the game, and in the immortal words of Mike Dean, say "off you pop".

Presnel Kimpembe

A defender! Blasphemy! Presnel Kimpembe is the most common name in the Reddit thread and we do have to agree on this one, he is simply too good.

Although rated just 83 OVR Kimpembe seems to be everywhere, leading one fan to say "If I didn't watch football and only played FIFA, I would think that he is the best defender who has ever played football".

Ousmane Dembele

We are not quite sure where EA has got this illusion that Ousmane Dembele is the greatest player in the world, but it certainly seems like it in FIFA 22.

Injury has blighted Dembele's career and we hope he does reach his potential, but for now, we will have to make do with him tearing us apart in FIFA with pace, trickery, and an insane weak foot.

Nabil Fekir

If you completed this SBC, we envy you. If you didn't, tough luck. Nabil Fekir's Road to the Knockouts card is just downright irritating to play against as the ball seems to stick to him like glue.

Fortunately, Real Betis won't be picking up a win bonus for his card, but they could secure an upgrade to 87 OVR should they qualify for Group G.
