Winter Upgrades will be coming soon on FIFA 21 Ultimate Team as the Winter Refresh looks to be the next FUT promo.
AC Milan have not finished inside the top four since 2013, so it is no surprise some of their players need a ratings boost as they challenge for their first title in years.
Take a look at five Serie A players we think need an upgrade in the Winter Refresh.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic (OVR 83 – 86)
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is proving age is just a number this season, he can’t stop scoring.
Nearly in his 40s, Ibrahimovic has a ratio of more than a goal per game in Serie A this season and as propelled AC Milan into title contention.
Already an 83 OVR, Ibrahimovic could see his rating back among the elite strikers in world football with a winter upgrade.
Theo Hernandez (OVR 80 – 83)
AC Milan left back Theo Hernandez is quickly becoming one of the best around in his position.
Hernandez boasts eight goal involvements already this season, as well as two in-form (IF) cards on FUT 21.
An upgrade to 83 OVR could happen in the Winter Refresh as Hernandez has consistently proven he is a top-quality player.
Two other French defenders could be upgraded this winter too, Dayot Upamecano in the Bundesliga and Jules Kounde in La Liga.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan (OVR 80 – 83)
Armenian star Henrikh Mkhitaryan is rebuilding his reputation in the Italian capital.
With 18 goal involvements so far, Mkhitaryan is certainly in line for a Team of the Season card when they are released later in the year.
Mkhitaryan has received three IF cards this season, and the Winter Refresh could see his basic card rise to 83 OVR, and shift position to CAM.
Luis Muriel (OVR 79 – 82)
Atalanta are only being outscored by league leaders Inter in Serie A, and Luis Muriel has been their leading marksman so far.
Muriel’s pace has made him a popular play on FIFA for many years, but his goal scoring form in real life could see his other stats boosted this winter.
Rated just 79 OVR on Ultimate Team this season, his rating should increase when the Winter Refresh arrives.
Hakan Calhanoglou (OVR 79 – 82)
Turkish international Hakan Calhanoglou currently leads Serie A in assists, so surely he deserves more than a 79 OVR.
The creative force behind AC Milan’s attack, Calhanoglou has been deployed predominantly behind the striker in an attacking midfield role, so a position change could happen too.
Already famed for his set-piece expertise, Calhanoglou could be rated 82 OVR by the end of the month.
