The Winter Refresh is coming soon to FIFA 21 Ultimate Team and will bring with it some Winter Upgrades too.
The Winter Upgrades come as part of the FUT promo event, rewarding players who are outperforming their current ratings.
Take a look at five La Liga players we think need an upgrade in the Winter Refresh.
Marcos Llorente (OVR 82 – 85)
It is about time Marcos Llorente starts getting the recognition he deserves as he is one of Atletico Madrid’s consistent performers.
Versatile and with a great work ethic, Llorente epitomises what Diego Simeone’s side are all about.
He is more than just a grafter though, Llorente has 14 goal involvements in La Liga this season. It is about time he is ranked among Saul and Koke.
Joao Felix (OVR 81 – 84)
Atletico Madrid have never played eye-catching attacking football under Simeone, but they certainly have some attacking talent in their ranks.
Joao Felix and Luis Suarez have both been in terrific form helping Atletico to the top of La Liga, with the Portuguese youngster showing why they splashed out over £100 million to sign him.
Felix could see a big upgrade this winter, and he is not the only Portuguese star who needs one. Three Portuguese stars could also receive boosts in the Premier League Winter Upgrades.
Jules Kounde (OVR 79 – 82)
Already a popular player on FUT 21 thanks to his mobility, Jules Kounde is a serious contender for a hefty winter upgrade.
Having formed an excellent partnership with Diego Carlos, Kounde has helped Sevilla to the second-best defensive record in the league.
Rated 79 OVR, the young French centre back could see a new rating of 82 soon.
Kounde could join another French CB with a new rating this winter, Dayot Upamecano is on our shortlist for Bundesliga Winter Upgrades.
Youssef En-Nesyri (OVR 78 – 81)
Linked with a move to the Premier League in January, Youssef En-Nesyri has been finding the net regularly in La Liga and the Champions League.
Sevilla’s Moroccan striker is powerfully built and knows how to score goals, so interest in the 23-year-old is hardly surprising.
Currently the third top goal scorer in La Liga, En-Nesyri definitely deserves a boost to his current 78 OVR.
Yassine Bounou (OVR 76 – 80)
Another Sevilla and Morocco star, goalkeeper Yassine Bounou may not have been first choice going into the season, but he will be difficult to dislodge now.
Sevilla boasts an impressive defensive record, and Bounou has conceded just 13 goals in 19 matches.
With an impressive nine clean sheets, Bounou will surely see an increase to his 76 OVR this winter.
