Players are now enjoying The Witch Queen DLC that was released for Destiny 2 earlier this week. We were promised the biggest and most significant content update since the game launched and so far, it's living up to that promise.
While there was plenty of endgame content added, a new campaign is what was truly exciting players as it seeks to push along the lore of the world Bungie has built. Again, following the trend of The Witch Queen DLC, it's not exactly a bitesize bit of content.
So, how long is The Witch Queen DLC in Destiny 2? We've got everything you need to know!
The Witch Queen campaign length
As part of Destiny 2's massive Witch Queen DLC, there is a huge campaign that will be tricky to complete in just one sitting. There are 12 missions in this content update and none of them is necessarily short and simple.
Depending on whether you are playing in Classic or Legend difficulty, the time to complete The Witch Queen campaign may vary. Either way, expect it to go as long at 6-8 hours provided that you stop to take in any NPC discussions and cutscenes along the way.
If you're playing through The Witch Queen campaign and need an idea of how far along you are, we have the full mission list right here;
- The Arrival
- The Relic
- The Investigation
- The Ghosts
- The Communion
- The Mirror
- The Lightblade
- Memories of Ruin
- The Cunning
- The Last Chance
- Memories of Loss
- The Ritual
This will help you keep track of where you are within the DLC and how far away you are from finishing the new content.
Beyond the story content, there is also a ton of general game updates and additions. One of the biggest changes is the Void subclass receiving a complete rework. Solar and Arc will also be addressed in the future but for now, this is the first rework of its kind in Destiny 2.
