It's a big day for Destiny 2 with the launch of The Witch Queen!
Beyond this new expansion and massive update, however, a new Destiny 2 raid is coming - The Vow of the Disciple.

The Vow of the Disciple Release Date
The next Destiny 2 raid, The Vow of the Disciple, has finally been revealed by Bungie! This raid will open in Destiny 2 on March 5, 2022, according to leaks.
This raid's name suggests an alternate outcome than most Destiny 2 players predicted with the eventual fall of The Witch Queen. Instead, by this time in Destiny 2, the character may still be thriving, or the raid's name simply doesn't give away her state in the end.
Beyond this info, Bungie has revealed next to nothing about The Vow of the Disciple so far. We know players will have just 11 days to get ready to enter the raid and fight, but in terms of bosses, loot, and beyond, Bungie is keeping things close to their chest for the time being.
One thing's for certain, though, The Vow of the Disciple world first race will be an exciting time as the very best of the best of Destiny 2 compete to clear the new content before the rest of the world get the chance.
Destiny 2 4.0.0.1 Patch Notes Revealed
While players will have to wait some time before jumping into The Vow of the Disciple, The Witch Queen Update, Destiny 2 patch 4.0.0.1, is already live!
This patch packs a massive amount of new content and balance changes into its patch notes, totaling over 6,000 words.

The Witch Queen Update
Now that The Witch Queen is live in Destiny 2, players have the chance to enjoy a ton of new content on all platforms. After 15 hours of server maintenance, the hype is very real, so there's never been a better time to get back into the game!
For those just returning to Destiny 2, 11 days is a good amount of time to get your gear together to venture into the next raid, The Vow of the Disciple. Just make sure to make use of this weekend's return of Trials of Osiris and Xur!
