COD Mobile might not be a dramatic reinvention of the Call of Duty series but it does have the option to drive and fight in a tank.
That being said, as a mobile shooter, COD Mobile is one of the best out there and it is well worth your time.
Below, we have everything you could want to know about the tank in COD Mobile and how you can use it to get a leg-up on the competition.
How To Get A Tank
Annoyingly, getting a tank in COD Mobile isn't easy. That doesn't mean it is difficult either, though.
Unlike Legendary Weapons, you don't need to actually spend anything to get a tank in COD Mobile. All you have to do is keep an eye out for an airdrop and hope that one comes with a tank.
We know it's a bit of a pain that they are luck-based but this makes finding one before your enemies find one all the more important.
In a way, this is similar to how tanks work in Black Ops Cold War's Fireteam: Dirty Bomb. They also just drop randomly as airdrops during the game.
It is also worth noting that because the tank is the only vehicle that doesn't spawn on the map at the start of each game, going for one in the late game can be a challenge in itself.

As you can imagine, a tank in COD Mobile is a highly sought after thing.
How To Destroy A Tank
As you might imagine, the tank is the most durable vehicle in COD Mobile. This means it'll take quite a few hits to take out.
Although there are several launchers, the best one to use to kill a tank is the FHJ-18. This can kill a tank in four shots.
If you can synchronise with your team, the FHJ-18 can make quick work of enemy armour.
In addition to this, if you can throw enough Nova Gas you can actually damage and kill the enemy inside the tank without actually inflicting any damage to the tank.

COD Mobile Tank Tips
The first thing you need to do is master the cannon.
The tank's turret turns a little bit slower than your camera movements meaning you'll have to anticipate enemy positions much more than if you were using a standard machine gun.
This makes the tank devastating at long ranges but a bit of a challenge in close-quarters combat.
That being said, you can also swap to the machine gun on top of the tank when they do get a little close to even things up a bit more.
The second main thing that you should focus on while playing with a tank in COD Mobile is movement.
A tank isn't a small target and sitting still for too long is bound to make you more of a target. Shooting while moving can be a little bit of a task for beginners but when you can get your head around this you'll truly be a force to be reckoned with.
Finally, if you're playing in a team and you find a tank... Don't have everyone in the tank. This may seem like an unusual tip, but hear us out.
If the tank does go down, you're all going to go down with it if you're all inside it. Furthermore, if someone does get a bit up-close and personal, a teammate outside of the tank could be in a perfect position to flank and kill any assailants while the tank ats as the main target.
Obviously, if you're going somewhere then pile in but if you're hunting for kills then it might be worth keeping a safe distance apart.
