Raven Software's Warzone is entering its fifth season of integration with Treyarch's Black Ops Cold War and cheating is rampant. It feels like the problem has only been getting worse over time, despite the development team's banning and promises of a solution. Now, though, it looks like we might actually be getting a dedicated and effective anti-cheat system for Warzone. Here's everything you need to know.
Is Warzone actually getting an Anti-Cheat system?
At the moment, we don't know for sure whether Warzone is actually going to get an anti-cheat system. We do have information from a Call of Duty community member - TheGhostOfHope - that would suggest that we're getting an anti-cheat system in Warzone soon. However, it is unconfirmed...
ModernWarzone has suggested that the delayed release of Season 5 is down to Activision implementing an anti-cheat system to Warzone, but it's hard to say whether this is true. Raven Software has only said the following in recent weeks...
Warzone's anti-cheat system has reportedly been in the works for over a year now and people aren't really buying it. Games like Splitgate, produced with a fraction of the resources, reportedly have robust anti-cheat systems in play already.

When does Season 5 even start?
Warzone Season 5 was pushed back 24 hours and will now start at the following times:
- 21:00 August 12th - PST
- 00:00 August 13th - EST
- 05:00 August 13th - BST
There's going to be three new Black Ops Cold War weapons available at launch, new POI locations, and a new Operator to jump into Verdansk '84 with. There isn't as much actual content as previous seasons, but the introduction of a robust anti-cheat system would be well-recieved by players.
