The next major title update for Raven Software's Warzone is finally out and there's a lot content to be excited about. Black Ops Cold War once again lends its weapons and Operators to flesh out the update, but there are some Warzone-specific things worth mentioning. Here's everything you need to know.
LATEST - Season 5 Update Is Bigger Than Meets the Eye
The Season 5 update for Warzone is adding a lot of new content. You can check out everything you need to know about the new Operators and new weapons here. Those aren't the most important additions this time around though, because Raven Software is adding Warzone-exclusive Perks for the first time.
This isn't what we expected and it could mean the start of a resurgence in the importance of Warzone's update. For the entirety of Black Ops Cold War's lifetime, it seems like Warzone has been a second thought to Activision. However, this could be about to change with the introduction of Combat Scout and Tempered.
Combat Scout: "Damaging an enemy briefly highlights the foe in bright orange and automatically pings them..."
Tempered: " Tempered allows each Armor Plate to absorb 75 points of damage instead of the standard 50, but an Operator will only be able to wear two at a time instead of three."
Only time will tell if they play a big part in the Warzone meta.
Warzone Season 5 Content Revealed
Raven have given us a good look at the content coming in Call of Duty Season 5, and it includes new maps, game modes, weapons, operators, zombies features, and plenty more across Warzone and Black Ops Cold War.

Warzone Season 5 Release Date
With Season 4 coming to and end, the Warzone Season 5 update went live on August 12, or August 13 in Europe.
Warzone Season 5 In-Game Event
One very interesting factor that could play into Warzone Season 5, is that we are expecting the reveal of this years Call of Duty title very soon. In fact, we're expecting the reveal towards the end of August.
It's been widely reported that the reveal for the new Call of Duty, believed to be called Vanguard, is expected to tie into a Warzone in-game event. There's a good chance that this will take place during Warzone Season 5.

Just as sure as the sky is blue, we'll be getting a brand new battle pass with Warzone Season 5. It includes the following:
