Warzone 2 has changed the face of Call of Duty, much like its predecessor, with millions of players dropping in daily. Season 2 is now finally here, and new weapons have arrived to shake up the meta just in time for the return of Rebirth.
Assault Rifles are dominating the meta right now, as they're perfect for the long sight lines and open spaces of Al Mazrah. Here's how to build the TAQ 56, little brother of the TAQ V, into an unstoppable beam at long-range, which can outperform even the best LMGs at sustained damage.

Best Taq 56 Attachments Warzone 2
The Taq 56 does huge damage at range, so you'll want to set it up not unlike a sniper in how it operates. Here are the attachments we recommend:
- Muzzle: Harbinger D20 | 1.35^ | 1>
- Barrel: 17.5" Tundra Pro Barrel | 0.5^ | 0.4>
- Optic: VLK 4.0 | -3^ | -0.26>
- Magazine: 60-Round Mag
- Underbarrel: VX Pineapple | -0.4>
All of these tunings will gear the Taq 56 towards higher damage range and recoil smoothness in Warzone 2. This means you'll be able to pick enemies off at a great distance while still firing full-auto.
Best Taq 56 Perks and Equipment Warzone 2
If you do manage to get a hold on your full loadout in Warzone 2, it's important to make the most of it. That means you'll want to cover all bases, and here's what we recommend:
- Perk Package: Weapon Specialist
- Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor
- Lethal: Throwing knife
- Secondary: Lachmann Sub/Fennec
Weapon Specialist will give you overkill, which is a must for any warzone class, and allow you to run a close range weapon as well. Check out our Lachmann Sub Loadout, and our Fennec Loadout, for all the attachments you'll need in Warzone 2.
The Heartbeat sensor will allow you to hole up in one place or take buildings with ease. The Throwing knife meanwhile allows you to eliminate downed enemies quickly so you can move to the next target and waste no time or ammo, on your way to another Warzone 2 win.
