Warzone 2 Ashika Island Rebirth
Ashika Island is the news fans have been hoping for since the release of the new Warzone back in November. Since Rebirth was removed from Warzone Caldera, fans of the mode have had to settle for the slower pace of Al Mazrah.
The new map will be home to Resurgence and DMZ and will drop with Season 2 of Warzone 2 on the 15th of February, 2023. This should create a much faster variant of both modes, and it will be interesting to see the impact this has on DMZ particularly.
There are a ton of new features to get to grips with in the new map, including some POIs that will look very familiar.
Ashika Island POIs
There are a ton of new POIs in the Warzone 2 Rebirth map, but a few, in particular, have caught the eye of fans. Multiplayer maps both from MW2 as well as past Call of Duty titles have made an appearance.
The first is the Castle map from the original Modern Warfare series, which has been transformed into the central POI of the new Battle Royale map. Tsuki castle will have much the same layout as the original, as well as fit with the feudal Japanese theme of the season.
Other fans have noticed that a layout similar to the original scrapyard can be found in the top left of the new Warzone 2 map. Shipment too is included, in the Shipwreck POI, distinguishable by the well-known layout of containers.
