Black Ops Cold War's next major title update is finally here we have all the details on Season 5. As always, there's going to be a new Battle Pass and a few new Prestiges to level up, but what about the actual content? Here's the latest.
LATEST - Double Agent Mode Explained
As part of Black Ops Cold War Season 5, we're getting the new Double Agent mode for multiplayer. This game mode places ten players into a lobby with a set of objectives, only one of the players will be a Double Agent out to halt success however they can.
Each match contains three roles;
· Double Agents, who must either eliminate everyone else or successfully set off explosive charges around the map.
· The Investigator, who can use clues to target suspected Double Agents as Wanted criminals.
· Operatives, who must work together to identify and eliminate the Double Agents before it’s too late.

Black Ops Cold War's season 5 Content Roadmap has been revealed and there's a lot on offer.

New Multiplayer Maps
There's going to be five new maps coming to Black Ops Cold War in Season 5. Black Ops' Drive-In and Black Ops 2's Slums are both being joined by Echelon and Zoo in most playlists. 2v2 and 3v3 playlists are also getting Showroom, an area from The Pines mall reimagined for smaller gunfights.
New Guns And Weapons
The EM2 Assault Rifle and TEC-9 SMG are both joining Black Ops Cold War as Battle Pass Tier Rewards. The Cane melee weapon and Marshal secondary will be available via in-game unlock challenges throughout the season.
Additional Operators
Kitsune, a self-taught cybersecurity expert, is joining Perseus' Warsaw Pact at the start of Season 5. She will be available as a Tier 1 reward in the Season 5 Battle Pass. Stryker is joining NATO's forces mid-season and Hudson, a Black Ops legend, is also making his way to the battlefield.

Season 4 ended on Tuesday, 10 August, and Season 5 have now gone live.

New Call of Duty Game Reveal
We are expecting the announcement of a new Call of Duty game soon, believed to be called Vanguard. This means that Black Ops Cold War Season 5 could be the second to last season before the new game is revealed.
We're unsure how this will affect future content as both Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War are receiving content in each new battle pass. This could mean that the battle pass extends further to include content for Vanguard or content stops for Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War.
