Black Ops Cold War's Season 5 update is finally out and we're here to talk about all the new Operators coming to both Treyarch's shooter and Warzone in the next few weeks. Season 5 is going to be big and that means we need big personalities to tackle the situation. Or, in one Operator's case: the "personality of a wet f**king blanket"...
New Black Ops Cold War Season 5 Operators
Kitsune - Warsaw Pact
Featuring on the key artwork for Season 5, Kitsune is the first new Black Ops Cold War Operator to be added in the Season 5 update. She's a self-taught cybersecurity expert and a world-class thief.
" Born in Kobe, Kitsune left her family’s organized crime past behind to join Perseus, aligning her values with that set by the new world order they are trying to install. Cautious, thorough, and effective, Kitsune relishes any chance she has to use her enemy’s tools against them."
Kitsune will be available at Tier 1 of the Season 5 Battle Pass.
Stryker - NATO
Stryker is one of NATO's finest, a one-man army in many respects. He's the cutting edge of US Special Forces and is dedicated to a fault.
" A soldier whose dedication to excellence borders on obsession, Stryker is the product of a 1980s Future Warfare program designed to combat test the synthesis of advanced technology and military expertise. Stryker offers a glimpse of the battlefield of tomorrow."
Stryker will be available via an Operator Store Bundle later in Season 5
Jason "Personality of a wet f**king blanket" Hudson - NATO
We know this man very well... He "interrogated" Mason in Black Ops and hasn't missed a beat since. Weaver and Adler have worked with Hudson for far too long and despite Woods' apprehension to his methods, they are working together to take down Perseus throughout Black Ops Cold War's narrative.
" After having Adler and Woods handle the dirty work against Perseus, Special Agent Jason Hudson is set to take the fight into his own hands as he leaves D.C. to finish the fight in Verdansk, Teufelsberg, and even parts unknown within the Dark Aether."
Hudson is going to be available via an Operator Store Bundle at some point in Season 5.
No Mason, just yet...
Woods takes centre-stage in the next Black Ops Cold War Cinematic Trailer, which showcases our new Warsaw Pact Operator throughout. That might mean there's no Alex Mason, yet... But, Stitch has activated the "Numbers" so...

When does Season 5 start?
UPDATE: Black Ops Cold War Season 5 is finally here and Kitsune is available. Stryker is due next and Hudson will follow. Expect to hear more from Treyarch in the coming weeks.
Black Ops Cold War Season 4 was due to end on August 10th; However, it looks like Season 5 has been confirmed to start on August 12th. This means we should see an extension to the current season to bridge the gap between the two dates.
If we look at the specific time Season 4 updated, we can also make an estimate as to the actual start time of Season 5. Take this with a grain of salt, but we believe that the next season of content for Black Ops Cold War could release at around 21:00 PST on August 11th and 00:00 EST / 05:00 BST on August 12th.
This is unconfirmed and subject to change at the time of writing. However, we are confident it is accurate.
