Battlefield 2042: How to Fix No XP Bug

Live service games are no stranger to performance issues on launch - sadly, that's just a reality of the industry nowadays. However, not earning XP at all is a little weird... Right? If you're stuck getting no XP in Battlefield 2042 - here's what you need to know about fixing this issue.

EA DICE on Battlefield 2042's No XP Glitch

EA has released a statement that confirms that the "No XP" glitch is only occurring on Battlefield 2042 servers of 128 players - these are the largest servers available and only playable on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.

So... You should simply just not face this issue if you're playing on Xbox One or PS4.

EA DICE's statement is as follows:

" Our teams are reviewing reports of 128 Player Servers that aren't correctly awarding XP for Score Events.
" If you're not seeing Score Confirmations, you're on an affected server.
" We'll get to the bottom of it. Keep an eye on your feeds or consider playing smaller modes for now."

Thankfully, though, it looks like EA DICE are actively attempting to fix the issue and they have already released numerous server-side updates. It's also worth noting that this wasn't affecting every single 128-player server, to begin with.

If you're still facing issues, it might be worth keeping yourself on smaller game modes and in smaller lobbies until the issue is fully resolved. Hazard Zone, in particular, is a smaller more - or Battlefield 2042's Portal features a series of smaller modes from Battlefield 1942, Bad Company 2, and Battlefield 3.

We're expecting several more minor updates between now and November 19th - when Battlefield 2042 is fully released. So... This shouldn't be an issue for much longer if you're still having trouble now.
