WWE 2K22 will have 50+ hours of new single player career mode MyRISE

WWE 2K22 is just over a month away, and the new game will bring back a completely revamped version of MyCAREER with the new single player career mode MyRISE.

As new details come out, we've learned just how many hours players will be able to invest into the story of WWE 2K22 MyRISE this year.

WWE 2K22 MyRISE to have 50+ hours of single player career mode story

With WWE 2K22 just a handful of weeks out from this year's release date, we're slowly learning more about the game that players can expect to receive.

One piece of the puzzle we got fairly early was the arrival of MyRISE, and this new single player story will replace what was once known as MyCAREER.

2K developers spoke early on about how important that change was to them, as they were aware of critiques and flaws in the ways MyCAREER had been presented through recent installments.

As a result, MyRISE aims to usher in a new era, and one of the ways they're doing that is significantly increasing the amount of story players will get to play through.

In WWE 2K20, the MyCAREER mode lasted about 24 to 25 hours, and while you could play as a male or female superstar, they followed the same storyline.

That's changing this year, as MyRISE introduces two completely independent stories, one for male superstars and one for female superstars, with both also approaching that 25 hour mark on average according to one recent developer interview.

It's important to remember that these are just estimates, as some players could skip test and race through things much quicker, while others may take even longer.

However, knowing that the game will have 50+ hours worth of content in MyRISE alone is huge news for fans who are looking forward to that single player career mode experience.

MyRISE will feature the WWE Performance Center and multiple legends

We've only seen a few short glimpses of MyRISE in WWE 2K22, but even those quick moments have revealed a few key plot points.

We know that the WWE Performance Center will be a part of your story, and your arrival there will include interactions with WWE Hall of Famers Beth Phoenix and Shawn Michaels as trainers at the facility.

There was also a short clip shown in a separate trailer which showed a backstage interaction with Seth Rollins, and one showing a beatdown at the hands of multiple women's wrestlers.

So far these tiny previews are all we've seen, but players will get more details in a Ringside Report closer to launch looking at what's special about MyRISE in WWE 2K22.
