Fortnite's new chapter is well underway following its surprise arrival, but when does Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 end? While the Fracture event might not have been the blockbuster epic that fans wanted, it appears that the Season 1 content has been a hit so far.
It's never too early to look at what's next and in that spirit, we're taking a look at when the current chapter will end, with Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 2 right around the corner.

When does Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 1 end?
Season 1 of Fortnite Chapter 4 will end on Wednesday, 8 March 2023. This has been confirmed by Epic Games but has changed from the originally slated 10 March, so there could be another change ahead.
We'd love to offer some speculation that the reason this is being done is to celebrate some kind of Super Mario Bros. collaboration, March 10 is Mario day after all, but it's highly unlikely.
It could, however, indicate that we will be getting another in-game event to transition between seasons. While these events are often saved for Fortnite's more important transitional moments there is still every likelihood that one is used to bring us into Season 2.
Fortnite Chapter 4 conundrum
The main issue that Epic has with Fortnite Season 4 is that players aren't sure what they're about to get. Chapter 3 fell flat given that it only had four full seasons and none of them really pushed the boat out on creativity or narrative.
The community now needs to decide whether or not Chapter 4 will fix these issues and offer much more for them to sink their teeth into. Only time will tell but the very early impressions suggest that players are happy with what they're seeing but are reserving full judgement for further down the line.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2
Players are eagerly awaiting the start of a new season in Fortnite. There is always some downtime between seasons for the Epic title, which means that we expect Season 2 to start two days following the end of Season 1.
That means Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 should start on Friday, March 10 2023.
As with the end of Season 1 though, this date is always open to change if Epic needs more time to get the update ready.
