Fortnite players are patiently awaiting the start of the hotly anticipated Chapter 4 Season 2, eagerly anticipating what Epic may have in store this time around.
Well, the rumour mill is spinning and whilst we don't have too much official information on Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 just yet, Epic has dropped a new trailer, giving us some clues that we can learn from.

The Chapter 4 Season 2, or 'Fortnite Mega' Launch Gameplay Trailer is out now and it's fair to say the new season looks awesome!
The first thing that you notice is how vibrant the new city looks with plenty of flashing bright colours everywhere you look.
The fresh skis are always a talking point and they look clean this time around.
The trailer shows us how the new rails will work in-game and Fortnite fans will be surprised at just how fast you travel on them.
The gameplay trailer also features the new vehicles with previously leaked motorcycles that we cannot wait to jump on.
Plus, there's a giant green monstrous-looking skin holding the new incredibly overpowered blade that will pretty much break the game.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2
Epic has not yet officially confirmed when the next season of Fortnite will commence, but we do have a good idea of what the start date will be.
The current season in Fortnite (Chapter 4 Season 1) will officially end on Wednesday, 8 March, as stated in-game.
Epic Games will then need time to make the updates and changes required, with a scheduled downtime most likely coming on Thursday, 9 March.
So, you can expect the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 start date to be Friday, 10 March.
Season 2 rumours & leaks
Whilst Epic has revealed little to no concrete news regarding Chapter 4 Season 2, we do have some clues from which we can gather information.
One rumour that is circulating among Fortnite fans is that Rift Ward Stellan is in fact the exact same person as the "Shapeless Man".
If true, this could be a huge development in the current Fortnite storyline.
On top of this, as it stands, the Rift Gate is open and we are unable to close it as an unknown entity is currently controlling it. We expect more developments on this in Season 2.
Various reports suggest that the Fox Clan and the Peace Syndicate will make a return for Chapter 4 Season 2, as both groups are mentioned repeatedly in new text strings that were included with the 23.50 update.
Fox Clan members are a true Fortnite classic. The Drift skin is one of the most popular in the game's history, whilst the popular Crew skin Vi also belonged to the clan.
First revealed in Chapter 3, Peace Syndicate could also feature heavily once again.
Of course, the Season 3 Battle Pass skin Evie was the leader of the group, whilst Twyn and Meowscles are also members of the Peace Syndicate group.
We don't yet know the roles that the Fox Clan or the Peace Syndicate will play in Chapter 4 Season 2, but clues point towards the Peace Syndicate having a rather sinister impact going forward.
Chapter 4 Season 2 Battle Pass
As ever, Fortnite players are eagerly anticipating the release of the new Battle Pass.
We already have a few ideas of what the Chapter 4 Season 2 Battle Pass will include.
The 'A Distant Roar' spray, which is one of the rewards for the recent new Cipher quests could be transferred to a Battle Pass skin.
The spray features a unique-looking lizard man wearing a red jacket and gold jewellery.
With Epic already teasing him in the game via the spray, you can be pretty certain he'll be an option as a full-blown skin in the near future.
Another possible Season 2 Battle Pass skin is the 'Shapeless Man'.
Should the Shapeless Man be added as a skin, we expect it to be a rather daunting dark, scary-looking figure.
A new version of the Drift is also rumoured to arrive with the Chapter 4 Season 2 Battle Pass.
