Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 is drawing to a close, but when does Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 start? Fortnite fanatics can't wait to see what Epic has in store for Chapter 4 Season 2.
As usual the game developers are keeping their cards very close to their chests for now. Epic has revealed little to no concrete information regarding Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, but we do have an idea of when it will begin.
So, with Chapter 4 Season 1 ending find out when Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 will commence below.
When does Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 start?
As per usual, the next season of Fortnite will begin two days following the end of the previous season.
The current Fortnite season, Chapter 4 Season 1, officially ends on Wednesday, 8 March, as stated in-game.
That means the next Fortnite season, Chapter 4 Season 2, will begin on Friday, 10 March.
This gives Epic Games the time to make the updates and changes required, with a scheduled downtime most likely coming on Thursday, 9 March.
Though these dates have not yet been officially confirmed by Epic, the information was all but given away in the latest update, as the Cipher quests page now reads the following:
"A signal has been detected with a looping encrypted message inside that reads 0.3.1.0.2.0.2.3. What could it mean?"
This means that Friday, 10 March is the likely launch date for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2.
Season 2 rumours & leaks
Whilst Epic has revealed little to no concrete news regarding Chapter 4 Season 2, we do have some clues from which we can gather information.
One rumour that is circulating among Fortnite fans is that Rift Ward Stellan is in fact the exact same person as the "Shapeless Man".
If true, this could be a huge development in the current Fortnite storyline.
On top of this, as it stands, the Rift Gate is open and we are unable to close it as an unknown entity is currently controlling it. We expect more developments on this in Season 2.
