Warzone 2 is going strong in 2023, with millions of players around the world still dropping into Al Mazrah every day. Season 2 has now arrived, and new weapons with it, unlockable via the battle pass and new challenges, ready for the return of rebirth.
The Kastov 74u is essentially an AR/SMG hybrid, with high damage but also a solid fire rate, and a few shots on target can shred through an enemy. Here's how to build it so it's at its best in your loadout for the next time you drop into the action.

Best Kastov 74u Attachments in Warzone 2
The Kastov 74u is best for close range fights, but works the best as sniper support in a full loadout. This means you can build it to be incredibly versatile, then pair it with a sniper or long-range rifle to fill the gaps.
Here's what we recommend in the way of attachments:
- Muzzle: Echoless-80 | 0.97^ | 0.74>
- Optic: Cronen Mini Pro | -1.21^ | -2.25>
- Magazine: 45-Round Mag
- Ammunition: 5.45 High Velocity | 0.41^ | 6.86>
- Underbarrel: Phase-3 Grip | 0.48^ | 0.29>
This is the perfect balance for the Kastov, and will do little to hamper your mobility with the weapon. It will still contend very well up to long ranges, and once you pair it with a sniper in a full loadout you'll be unstoppable in your next game of Warzone 2.
Best Kastov 74u Perks and Equipment
Since you'll be running the Kastov 74u as Sniper support, you'll want to tailor the rest of your loadout toward that. Here's what we recommend to round out your class in Warzone 2:
- Perk Package: Weapon Specialist
- Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor
- Lethal: Throwing Knife
For your primary sniper we suggest either the SP-X 80 for higher damage, or the Singal 50, which will be the fastest kill time on an opponent with full plates.
In the meantime, run a heartbeat sensor to keep you safe, both when you're sniping, and to check buildings with an SMG. Then a throwing knife is always a solid option to avoid wasting valuable time and ammo on downed enemies in Warzone 2.
