The next Among Us update is due to release a lot sooner than we expected. Here's everything you need to know about what's coming next for Innersloth's incredible title.
New Among Us Update Release Date
Following Among Us' appearance at the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, Innersloth has revealed that its new title update is going to be coming on June 15th!
This is a lot sooner than anyone was expecting, but we're not about to start complaining. There's no word on what time it is going to be dropping exactly, or how big the download will be on various platforms, but we're expecting these details to be confirmed soon.
Innersloth's Among Us Twitter account will surely keep everyone updated as we head into tomorrow's launch.
15 Players In A Game?
It sounds too good to be true, right? Well, it IS true! Among Us is getting 15 Player support and this means there's going to be a lot more death and a lot more suspect gameplay from the chosen imposters.
From the trailer shown at the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, we can see that there's going to be three Imposters per 15-player game. We don't know for sure if this can be changed but we can imagine that the number will be able to be reduced. Standard Among Us lobbies can have up to three Imposters with eight players.
With fifteen players per lobby... Could we be looking at up to five Imposters?
New Colours Too?
Innersloth has been teasing new colours for a little while now and now we know when we can expect to see them!
Tan, Coral, Banana, Rose, Gray, and Maroon are all going to be available following the next Among Us update. We are expecting additional colours to be released in future updates too, but there's certainly a solid set of options going forwards.

Everything Else That's Coming
At the moment, this is pretty much everything that's coming to Among Us in the June 15th update. The game's newest map - Airship - is going to be getting a new "Horn Honking" feature, but there's no word on Map 5 just yet.
In addition to this, players joining the game on mobile devices should now be able to play with a controller! Mobile controller support is something a lot of developers are actively looking to implement, given the rise of mobile gaming, and Innersloth is making sure Among Us is on top of the latest developments.
