Yet another color has been confirmed for Among Us' next major update and we're slowly building to something exciting, right? Here's the latest from Innersloth as they drip-feed information about the next Among Us update.
LATEST - Don't Get "Marooned" On The Airship
We're just a day away from the Summer Game Fest, where Innersloth is expected to announce something big regarding Among Us. We already know a 15-Player update is coming, though, so maybe it's another new map?
Either way, Among Us' development team has shared another new color that's due to be added to the game in the next major update: Maroon!
As you can see, it's exactly what you expect it to be. It's a maroon-colored Among Us crewmate. Nothing too out of the ordinary there.
Tan Is Finally Here
The long-awaited arrival of the mysterious "Tan" Among Us color looks to be on the way after a dramatic announcement tweet from Innersloth. As new Among Us colors go, it's one of the plainer shades.
Tan has been a bit of an "easter egg color" for Among Us players that started playing long before its popularity boom. However, it looks like Innersloth has finally caved and the long-requested color is arriving in-game in the next title update.
For more information, tune into Innersloth's appearance at the Summer Game Fest on June 10th. You can also check out the "History of Tan" here. It's surprisingly quite interesting!
Two New Colors Announced So Far
At the moment, Innersloth has only announced two new colours are coming to Among Us in the future. However, both of these announcements look like they're leading up to a larger announcement at the Summer Game Fest next month.
Firstly, Rose is going to be added to Among Us. This one was popular with fans, as you might imagine.
Secondly, Innersloth announced that Gray would be making its way to Among Us at some point in the game's next major update.
As you can see, Innersloth has announced that more information is coming at the Summer Game Fest, specifically June 10th. But... What is that?
Summer Game Fest?
Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest is, essentially, an all-digital E3. Last year, it stepped up when E3 2020 was canned and it looks like Keighley is back with Prime Gaming's backing to put on another great show.
Like any digital showcase event in the gaming industry, expect to see world premieres and game updates from some of the biggest titles in gaming. We don't know for sure whether there will be some crossover between E3 2021 and Summer Game Fest 2021 but we can imagine there will be.
It all kicks off on June 10th at 13:00 EST / 18:00 BST with a new performance from Weezer!
