Badges play an important role in building your player in MyCareer mode. When creating your player, you can gain and upgrade certain attributes that help you with different situations. These badges help to upgrade and accent your playstyle, whether it’s through giving you a wider margin for error, physically giving your player a boost, or ensuring that you win a contest at the rim. However, these badges can be difficult to unlock. We wanted to provide you with a quick guide on how you can achieve these hard to unlock boosts. So, here’s how to start unlocking those badges for your MyCareer player.

Badge Categories

To start, there are a few categories of badges. These badges will generally fall into offensive badges and defensive badges.

Offensive badge categories are:

    Defensive badge categories are:

Many of these can be unlocked through the training facilities.

      Earning Badges

To earn the badges, certain requirements must be met. These can be simple activities, from things like taking a shot in a game, to pulling off difficult maneuvers.

With MyCareer mode, these will not come easily. Each player can only level up badges a certain amount depending on their primary and secondary skill. You need to take into consideration how you play, and how much time you are willing to put into the grind for those badges. For instance, getting 8 badges to gold ranking may take exponentially more time than getting 11 badges to silver rank due to the experience needed.
