2024 is here and the NFL playoffs are about to start, but that's not the only thing that is approaching. Madden 24 Season 4 has also arrived and introduced great content!
The next step of the Ultimate Team journey has begun, and it comes with plenty of rewards for players to earn.
So let's find out everything about Season 4, starting with it's release date.
Season 4 start & end date
There won't be long to breathe between seasons, as Madden likes to keep the content rolling. Season 4 started on Wednesday 10 January at around 12pm ET/5pm GMT.
Most of the information about Season 4 was revealed on the latest Good Morning Madden stream. So let's take a look at what Season 4 has in store.
Season 4 rewards
Players will get another 60-level Field Pass to complete for Season 4 and it will be littered with free players, packs, and coins. The standout Season reward players so far have been Jalen Ramsey, Randy Moss, and Michael Vick with all still being relatively competitive cards.
In Season 4, the standout player is none other than Ravens legend Ray Lewis. Furthermore, a 95 OVR Jerry Rice is also up for grabs in the Season 4 Field Pass.
Players will also earn three upgradable cards, which are Ty Law, Joe Montana, and Chris Jones. However, you can only upgrade one of them, so choose wisely.
To upgrade either Ty Law, Joe Montana, or Chris Jones, you will need to collect all the S4 Set tokens. To do that, you just need to progress through the Season 4 Field Pass, by playing games and completing missions, at least until you reach Level 46.
Competitive Field Pass
Along with the Season 4 Field Pass, a fresh Competitive Pass will start over. This is set to start on Thursday, 11 January, at around 11am ET/4pm GMT.
The Season 4 Competitive Field Pass was officially revealed on the 11 January Good Morning Madden stream. This Competitive Field Pass has 53 levels and brings incredible rewards, such as exclusive cards, plenty of coins, XP, and packs.
The two cards players can earn in the Competitive Field Pass are 93 OVR Tommy Devito and 94 OVR Akayleb Evans. Both cards possess good attributes but aren't among the best in their position, as there are much better QBs and CBs available.
To progress through the Competitive Pass you will need to play MUT Champs, Solo Battles, or H2H Seasons. Only this way will you be able to collect all the rewards.
Programs
Season 4 will include the Super Bowl program, which will feature amazing players from previous championship teams as well as offer prediction sets and current players who are about to compete for Super Bowl 58.
This program traditionally includes the first 99 OVR card of the MUT season, which will go to the Super Bowl MVP.
Last year the Super Bowl program included a "Hype Train" portion that added former Super Bowl greats like Jerome Bettis, Julian Edelman, and Ray Lewis, so we should get something similar this year.
We could also get Team of the Year in Season 4. This program usually kicks off after the Super Bowl and will feature a whole roster of high-90s cards. Players can get a free TOTY card if they complete all of the TOTW challenges and exchange the tokens.
The Playoffs program was the first program to arrive at MUT in Season 4 and introduced players who had phenomenal playoff performances in previous years. These cards have good attributes, and you will be able to be competitive with most of them.
We should also get the final few Legends cards before the weekend program flips over to Ultimate Legends.
A new Monday program is likely to kick off too, replacing Cover Athletes. This is yet to be confirmed but Weekly Wildcards is likely to step into the vacant slot.
More information about Season 4 will be revealed shortly, and we will update this article as soon as that happens. So make sure to bookmark it.
