The Halo Infinite Campaign is finally here worldwide and with that big open world comes tonnes of new questions. You can read some of ours in our review right here. The Halo Infinite Campaign takes place in February 2561.

How old is the Master Chief in Halo Infinite?
Master Chief was born March 7, 2511, meaning that he is 49 at the start of Halo Infinite. His voice actor, Steve Downes, is now into his 70's at age 71. This is likely part of where the more rough side of his voice come from.
Although the Master Chief is certainly getting older, Halo's spartans have the ability to live into their hundreds, if they don't get killed first. If things go well for the Master Chief, we could see many more sequels in the future.
This all being said, with Reach, ODST and Wars, the team have shown they're willing to go off book when they need to.
