FIFA 23 Pro Clubs Best Winger Build: Combine MAXIMUM PACE and skills with this META pro

Being a winger is one of the best positions to play in FIFA 23 Pro Clubs, using speed and skill to contribute with goals and assists.

Although dribbling, passing and shooting stats are important, pace is probably the key attribute when creating your Virtual Pro.

The best builds mean getting the right height, weight, attributes, archetypes and perks, as we will show you below.

NOTE: These player builds are based on what worked in FIFA 22, and will be updated accordingly when FIFA 23 is released.

Speed Machine

  • Base Position: ST

Playing as a winger is a luxury in Pro Clubs, as you rarely have to come back and defend, often waiting around the halfway line to spring a fast counter-attack.

Still, it takes skill to be one, as you need to position yourself well, make runs at the correct time, and be able to take on defenders.

RAPID RUNNER - Get ready to show your skills and your pace

Obviously, Pace is the main weapon in your armoury, and coupled with top dribbling and crossing, you will be a constant threat.

Interestingly, it is best to build a winger using the ST base position, as this grants you better Pace stats.

Size

  • Height: 5'3" - 5'4"
  • Weight: 99lbs - 119lbs

Choosing these options will get your pro to the fastest they can be and they should also be pretty nimble.

Attributes

First things first, stick all your skill points on Pace!

Look to max this out as soon as you can, as the space it grants you when getting in behind makes up for the lack of other ability you may have on the ball.

It then depends on how you and your side play as to what you improve next.

If you are crossing into the box regularly, then look to improve your Crossing stats on the Passing skill tree.

PACE, PACE, PACE - Scare defenders with your ease to get in behind

However, if you are needed more to take on defenders, then look to boost your Dribbling stats.

The Ball Control & Balance side of the tree is best for skill move players, and the Agility side is better for left-stick dribblers, as it lets you weave past defenders with ease.

If you find yourself with any additional skill points left over, look to use them in areas that will improve your Stamina, allowing you to run at full pelt for as long as possible.

Because this build uses a striker as the base, you don't need to focus on any Shooting stats until you've maxed out in other areas.

Archetypes

The archetypes you are aiming to give this build are:

  • Cheetah
  • Artist
  • Maestro
  • Lynx

The Cheetah is your main goal, then it comes down to what sort of player you are.

If you are constantly swinging in crosses, then go for the Artist, whereas if you take players on and get into the box more then the Maestro suits skill move merchants and the Lynx is better for predominant left-stick dribblers.

Perks

The best Perks to assign to your winger build are:

  • Active First Touch - Better ball control, acceleration and sprint speed
  • Pinpoint Cross - Increased crossing accuracy and ability, and gives the player Swerve, Flair, Early Crosser and 5* Weak Foot
  • Skilled Dribbler - Increases dribbling and skill moves, and gives Flair trait
  • Tireless Runner - Grants Second Wind and Solid Player traits
  • Poacher - Increases your all-round finishing (including boosts to Volleys, Finishing, and Heading Accuracy) when inside the box
