The Road to the Final (RTTF) campaign has returned in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team with some incredible cards.
The RTTF campaign has introduced new special UCL, UEL and EUCL live cards to the game that can be upgraded depending on the team's success.
So, find out when the RTTF cards get upgraded in FUT 22 here.
How do RTTF cards work?
All Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference Road to the Final items start with an upgrade at the launch of the event.
From there, the player’s Road To The Final item receives a further upgrade each time their team succeeds at select stages throughout the tournament, as you can see in the image below.
The Road to the Final cards will be upgraded when a player's team:
- Wins 1st knockout game after campaign launch.
- Qualifies for Quarter-Finals.
- Qualifies for Semi-Finals.
- Qualifies for the Final.
- Wins the Final.
It’s also worth noting that these upgrades are only impacted by the team’s performance, not the player that is shown on the card.
So, even if a player is on the bench, out injured, or even suspended, they will still receive a boost if their club succeeds in reaching the next stage.
When do RTTF cards get upgraded?
Road to the Final cards will get their upgrades on the Wednesday following the latest progression stage.
For example, if a team qualifies for the Quarter-Finals on Thursday, 24 March the RTTF card will be upgraded on Wednesday, 30 March.
The upgrades will go live at approximately 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.
