FIFA 22: Icon Swaps Player Pick reimbursement coming soon in Ultimate Team

Another week, another mistake in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team. Fans will once again receive an extra reward, and this one could be awesome.

The Icon Swaps are the mistake in question, with one of the rewards not quite offering what it said!

EA has already released a statement saying the mistake will be rectified, which means an extra pack for fans who redeemed the player pick already.

Icon Swaps

Icon Swaps 1 was released on Wednesday, 15 December, as with nearly all other releases, the objectives went live at 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.

The first set of nine tokens was available until Monday, 10 January, when the second set went live.

Icon Swaps 1: Set 2 went live on Monday, 10 January 2021 at 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.

Nine more tokens are now available as rewards, with the second set of objectives expiring on Monday, 7 February.

Player Pick problem

One of the Icon Swaps most valuable rewards has been the subject of scrutiny after it has been revealed that an error had been made within that reward.

There were no Prime Icon players available in the "Base, Mid, or Prime Icon Player Pick", which understandably the FUT community is not happy with.

This is one of the highest-value rewards on offer in Icon Swaps as it cost 17 tokens, with only Mid Icon Wayne Rooney commanding the same swap value.

EA has acknowledged the issue though, with their tweet reading "We are aware that the 1 of 2 Base, Mid, or Prime Icon Swaps Player Pick did not feature any Prime Icon Items.

"This issue has been addressed earlier today, and players who already made their picks prior to this will receive a new Icon Swaps Player Pick in the coming days."

If you are one of the players that did redeem this reward, keep an eye out for an extra Base, Mid, or Prime Icon Player Pick in the "my packs" section of FUT 22!
