The figures are in for the physical games sales charts, and boy has it been a big week.
With over one million physical games sold in the last week alone, it's no wonder that Black Friday was a success.
Given the situation with Covid, the numbers are still 20% less than last year.
However, let's take a closer look at the full sales charts now!
Physical Sales Charts
The sales charts this time around were still dominated by the usual suspects.
FIFA 21, Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War and Animal Crossing New Horizons topped the charts.
FIFA 21 took the best advantage of these Black Friday deals, with discounts on its Champions and Ultimate editions leading to a 35% increase in sales.

This led the game to beat both the Call of Duty title and Animal Crossing to the number one spot.
Titles that fell off
Titles that lost touch with the sales charts were the latest Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
These games didn't kick start and Black Friday sales, and so sales of the game dropped off.
For CoD, this resulted in a 48% decrease in sales compared with the previous week.

Similarly, AC Valhalla had a massive drop off and fell to fifth in the charts.
Titles that nailed it
On the other hand, a number of titles took full advantage of the Black Friday hype.
Most notable of course was FIFA 21, who rocketed into first place above CoD, and Animal Crossing.
The Animal Crossing title however achieved great things as well, jumping from 8th to 3rd thanks to a 58% increase in sales.
In fact, almost 38% of last week's sales went to Nintendo games, a huge share of the market, especially given then next-gen launch.
