Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies Weapon XP Fix Arrives in New Update

Since Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s release there have been a number of bugs to push through. Still, Zombies is without a doubt a massive hit.

A new fix for Zombies and Multiplayer alike has arrived in the new COD Black Ops Cold War update, targeting some issues with XP and Weapon XP!

Weapon XP

Levelling up your weapons in the game can be a drag, particularly in Zombies during the higher rounds and when playing solo.

This has led players to finding ways around the system, or playing different game modes entirely.

Players have found that the early rounds of Zombies provide the optimal chance to build your XP level.

This has caused some players to start Zombies, play a few rounds and then back out before repeating the process.

Whilst this may maximise XP growth, this also means a lot of time setting up the process and not actually playing the game.

Weapon XP Fix in New Update

A new Call of Duty Black Ops update has arrived to fix this weapon XP problem in multiplayer and Zombies alike.

Treyarch community manager FoxhoundFPS replied to a group of fans on Call of Duty subreddits saying that they had “identified an issue that was causing lower than intended weapon XP in both solo Zombies matches and later Zombies rounds."

The new COD Black Ops Cold War update fixes this problem, adding more Weapon XP to later rounds of Zombies and solo matches.

Unfortunately, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Double XP week will not be extended despite the issues, but there will be plenty more events in the future.
