Elden Ring is just hours out, and with fantastic reviews and plenty of hype, things are set for a massive launch!
Here's all the latest news approaching launch and when you can get to playing Elden Ring in your region.
LATEST - Just Hours Away
Elden Ring is finally almost here! You can preload the game now to get ahead, and the latest patch notes have already been released. If you're looking to play as soon as possible, you best get that download rolling.
Elden Ring Release Date & Time
Elden Ring will release on Friday, 25 February at retail but if you purchase the game digitally, you might be able to start playing sooner. This is because the game will go live at different times for the console and PC releases.
For most of the world, the console version of Elden Ring is playable at midnight on 25 February. The exception to this is the Central and Pacific timezones in North America.
For PC players, the game appears to release worldwide according to Midnight Central European Time. This will result in Eastern regions having to wait a little longer to play and Western regions playing on the 24 February.
It's not the first time we've seen a release schedule like this and it's common for PC and Console times to vary. Pre-loading is available on Xbox consoles right now whereas PC and PlayStation have to wait until 48 hours before release.
Preload Live Now
If you have Elden Ring preordered, you can now preload the game for yourself on Steam. This comes with an install size of 48.25 GB. It seems likely that the full file will be a little bigger on the game's release date. This could be a precaution to stop players accidentally from getting in early.
It seems likely that preload will drop on consoles within the next few hours so keep an eye on that and get it installed so you're ready for the final hour!
