Dying Light 2 is a pretty huge game filled with collectibles, moral decisions and so much more. For this reason, you may want to explore it again to get the most out of it. You may look to get the max level or take new paths. If this is the case, this is everything you should know about new game plus in Dying Light 2.
Does Dying Light 2 have New Game Plus?
As of right now, Dying Light 2 does not have New Game Plus. This being said, the team have pledged to continue working on the game for years after its release so, if this is a feature players are after, it will come eventually.
You can get around player choices through tactical use of autosave and using co-op to join friends worlds but this is a pretty inconvenient way of doing so.
You can join your friends at a much lower level to help them out but it's not quite the same as taking on your world once more with new level heights and a better arsenal. It seems we will have to wait a little while to get it.
Can you play after finishing Dying Light 2?
This all being said, you can continue to play ion after you finish Dying Light 2. It will send you back to just before the major climax, where you can continue to explore the world and level up your character.
There's a pretty finite cap on your world level and inhibitors though so your upgrade path has diminishing returns. It's unclear what exactly the team are working on next in regards to Dying Light 2 but the new game plus mode seems to be an inevitability at some point. You can always reach out to them directly over on Twitter or in their Discord server.
