Dying Light 2 can be a pretty intense game. With tonnes of building to parkour over and even more zombies to run away from, you may need to increase your mobility. Here's how to sprint and run faster in Dying Light 2.
How to sprint in Dying Light 2
Your movement is normally very quick in Dying Light 2 and pressing down L3 won't make you run any faster, at least by default. Speed slowly builds up with time and you start to move quicker after you have been running for a little while.
This all being said, you can actually pick a sprint skill in the parkour skill tree. On the fourth row on the left, you will find "Dart", a skill that will allow you to sprint for a short time. This can then be upgraded to go for a longer distance or to increase speed when climbing. These aren't the only skills that are beneficial to your general movement.
What skills should you pick?
The "Slide" and "Slide Jump" skills will help you get around much quicker but don't actively add to your running speed. The best way of getting quicker in Dying Light 2 is tactically using your environment to get around. Use it.
"Fast Climb" is also a necessary skill for getting the best movement. This all being said, you have to upgrade your stats and earn enough stamina just to unlock these so the game has a very natural progression to it.
Upgrading your stamina
To upgrade your stamina, you merely need to find 3 inhabitors and activate them on the "Skills" tab. You have to make the choice between stamina and health each time and the best way of surviving is by levelling both together. If you have too much of one, you can get left out with some of the game's best perks.
