Black Ops Cold War's next major update is almost here - Season 5 Reloaded is due to start in a matter of hours, really, and we have everything you need to know about when you can start to preload the Season 5 Reloaded update for Black Ops Cold War and when the content in the update becomes available.
PRELOAD - When can you download the update?
If you want to make sure you're not going to get caught out by a huge Black Ops Cold War title update on release day, you can actually preload the Season 5 Reloaded update for Black Ops Cold War.
This might be available for you right now - some people have been reporting this online - however, you should find it appear on your system from the following times:
- 21:00 September 7th - PST
- 23:00 September 7th - EST
- 04:00 September 8th - BST
This is just about a day before the update itself is due to go live. We don't have confirmation on how big the download itself will be, but Treyarch should drop their Season 5 Reloaded Patch Notes at around 10:00 EST / 13:00 EST / 18:00 BST.
RELEASE DATE - When does the update actually go live?
Season 5 Reloaded is due to start at the same time on both Warzone and Black Ops Cold War. So, you should be able to access all the new content at the following times:
- 21:00 September 8th - PST
- 23:00 September 8th - EST
- 04:00 September 9th - BST
There's not really a lot to look forward to, though - a lot of the content coming in the remainder of Season 5 is due "In-Season", still. We should see Zoo's 6v6 Multiplayer Map and Demolition made available when the update goes live, though.
Judge Dredd, Hudson, and The Numbers Event are all going to drop in the next couple of weeks. Expect to see a lot more from Treyarch and the teams behind Call of Duty in the build-up to Season 6 - A season that could be Black Ops Cold War's last.
