We don't really know why Call of Duty is throwing all these pop culture figures at us recently, but it's a money-grabbing scheme that's working. Judge Dredd is joining the fight in an Operator Skin Bundle - so not even his own character like Rambo and McClain - and you can pick him up from today! Here's the latest...
IN ACTION - Dredd Skin Bundle is out now
Judge Dredd is here and Beck just got his best Operator Skin - yes, you read that right. The Judge Dredd Operator is actually an Operator Skin for Beck. If it wasn't him, it'd be Baker - right?
You can check it out in action below:
We don't think anyone's using the Comic Strip Dredd skin in Warzone, but it's a cool-enough skin to have knocking about if you have the spare COD Points.
DETAILS - Judge Dredd Operator SKIN Bundle...
So... First things first, Judge Dredd isn't his own Operator. We know - it sucks, a lot - but at least we're getting him at all, right? Judge Dredd is actually going to be an Operator Skin Bundle for... Beck!
Beck?! Are you serious? Looks like we're not getting a new event, then.
It's less than ideal, but at least it isn't Baker - right? The Tracer Pack: Judge Dredd Bundle comes with the following:
- Judge Dredd - Beck Operator Skin
- Comic Strip - Beck Operator Skin
- Quick Judgement - SMG Weapon Blueprint
- Arbitrator Rifle - Assault Rifle Weapon Blueprint
- Lawgiver - Pistol Weapon Blueprint
- Incendiary - Finishing Move
- Book of Law - Weapon Charm
- Judge's Watch - Wrist Accessory
- ??? - Animated Calling Card
- ??? - Animated Emblem
There's no word on how much this will cost, but with two Legendary Operator Skins and three Weapon Blueprints... We're expecting 2,400 COD Points. The Tracer Pack: Judge Dredd isn't out yet, but will be available "In-Season".
TEASERS - The Law is coming to Verdansk '84
Judge Dredd - the anti-hero who can be found patrolling the streets of Mega-City One - could be on his way to Warzone and Black Ops Cold War in Season 5 Reloaded.
Call of Duty has shared the following images on Twitter which fans were quick to recognise as representing Judge Dredd's classic appearance:
Yeah - It's definitely Judge Dredd. We don't know when we're expecting him just yet, but we can imagine that he will be released in a Tracer Fire Operator Store Bundle with a couple of Weapon Blueprints, a finishing Move, and the usual array of Calling Cards and Emblems.
EVENT - 90s Action Heroes Leaks?
Following on from this, it looks like the Judge Dredd Operator Bundle could be released alongside an in-game event that follows on from the 80s Action Heroes event from a couple of months ago - 90s Action Heroes!
Twitter user ZestyCODLeaks shared a leaked image that suggests the event is on the way as early as September 8th - however, this has since been deleted and we have been questioning the legitimacy of the images.
The images also only show Judge Dredd in the imagery - Looking back at the 80s Action Heroes event, we saw both Rambo and John McClain added. However, Rambo was the only figure prominently shown on the promotional images. So... We could still see another Operator revealed ahead of any proposed event.
