We know we all want to play Vanguard, but there's still Black Ops Cold War's Season 5 Reloaded update to check out before the Open Beta. There's going to be a few new things added and we have everything you need to know about the Season 5 Reloaded and when it's due to release.
RELEASE DATE - When does the next update drop?
Black Ops Cold War's next title update is due to be released on September 9th - Well... September 8th for certain timezones. It should be available from the following times:
- 21:00 September 8th - PST
- 23:00 September 8th - EST
- 04:00 September 9th - BST
As you can see below, there's not too much to expect from the update at the start of Season 5 Reloaded - a lot of the content is due to release "In-Season".
That being said, you should be able to download the Season 5 Reloaded update for Black Ops Cold War ahead of release at the following times:
- 21:00 September 7th - PST
- 23:00 September 7th - EST
- 04:00 September 8th - BST
What were we expecting from the update before the roadmap?
At the moment, we don't really know. The Numbers Event is due to start soon - however, the Judge Dredd teaser would suggest something else is on the horizon first. Rumours are suggesting a "90's Action Heroes" event is on the cards, but only time will tell if that's the case.
The Numbers Event has been talked about since the start of Season 5. However, we only know the following:
" NATO is aware of these recent Perseus efforts and has decided to [[REDACTED]]. Operators should look for [[REDACTED]] when it arrives on [[REDACTED]] within Verdansk, as a highly important [[REDACTED]]."
We know the Red Doors and Season 5's Mobile Broadcast Stations are going to be involved, but that's all. We'd like to think Alex Mason would make an appearance as an Operator, but it's hard to say. Jason Hudson still hasn't been added yet and now we could be getting Judge Dredd!
On top of all this, we should see a new weapon or two added and - quite possibly - another Multiplayer Map between now and Season 6.
