Xbox Game Pass December 2021: Great range of games available this Christmas

Xbox Game Pass is, perhaps, one of the biggest deals in gaming, seeing hundreds of new games every year and tonnes of great titles come to the service. Here's everything you need to know about Xbox Game Pass in December.

Latest - Games being removed

Unforunately, as we approach the end of the month, we are due to see some games leave the service. On December 31st, Yakuza 0, Kiwami and Kiwami 2 are all leaving. If you haven't played them yet, you likely don't have enough time to finish them but they're worth playing.

On the same day, The little Acre and Pro Evolution Soccer 2021 are also leaving.

See out 2021 with a great selection of games

Last week's episode of Xbox On announced the latest selection of games coming to Xbox Game Pass - they were added on December 16th and they should be available indefinitely. Here's what you've got to look forward to for the next few weeks:

  • Lake
  • Firewatch
  • Broken Age
  • Ben 10: Power Trip
  • Mortal Kombat 11
  • The Gunk
  • Race With Ryan
  • Paw Patrol: Mighty Pups Save Adventure Bay
  • Transformers: Battlegrounds

LAKE - Deliver post and uncover this town's secrets

The Gunk, in particular, is worth checking out as it's a Day One title. However, Lake and Firewatch are both games that deserve your time. The artistic direction these two titles take is phenomenal and well worth spending some time with.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite

Aliens: Fireteam Elite is joining Xbox Game Pass on December 14th alongside the Season 2 update and we can't wait to jump into this universe.

" Set in the iconic “Alien” universe, Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a cooperative third-person survival shooter that drops your fireteam of hardened marines into a desperate fight to contain the evolving Xenomorph threat."

We don't know how long it'll be on Game Pass just yet, but there are at least two more seasons of content planned for the Year 1 Roadmap so it's safe to say that there's a lot more to do in this fantastic shooter - and a few more Xenomorphs to take down.

In addition to this, the following games are making their way to Xbox Game Pass...
