Crystal Dynamics' struggling superhero epic could be looking at salvation as it's added to Xbox Game Pass in a handful of days. We all know Marvel's Avengers would benefit from a boosted player count and it looks like Xbox Game Pass could provide that. It's got "free-to-play game" written all over it, really. Here's everything we know about Marvel's Avengers and Xbox Game Pass.
WHEN does Avengers land on Xbox Game Pass?
Xbox's Major Nelson - Larry Hryb to his friends - was given the honours of announcing the news that Marvel's Avengers was landing on Xbox Game Pass in a few days and the date that's been set is September 30th.
From September 30th to October 4th, there's going to be Quad XP in-game so this is the perfect time to jump in. What's more, you can actually stack Hero Catalyst XP boosters onto the bonus XP from the Quad XP event. That means, if you're starting out, you should be able to climb the levels quite quickly.
Marvel's Avengers is going to be available on Xbox Game Pass for Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X and PC - on top of all this, it's also going to be available for Game Pass members via the Cloud!
ALL THE CONTENT, War For Wakanda included
Marvel's Avengers has had quite a lot of post-launch content and you'll be pleased to know that all of it will be available with the Game Pass version of the game.
" Every player with an Xbox Game Pass membership can experience the full game and all our post-launch Heroes and missions. This includes four story campaigns that showcase one or more Hero’s unique abilities, as well as our Avengers Initiative – our evolving online multiplayer world that lets you and three friends play as any Hero in our roster and embark on global adventures."
The only thing to note is that you won't be able to get the additional Endgame Edition content for free with Xbox Game Pass - this is going to cost you a little bit. Microtransactions, amaright?
