When you hear that a game is called 12 Minutes, it's safe to assume you have set some expectations in your head as to how long the game will take to complete. However, in one of the surprises of the year, 12 Minutes is in fact way longer than the title suggests!
Here's how long it takes to beat and complete 12 Minutes.
How long does it take to beat 12 Minutes?
On average, it will take around 6-8 hours to complete 12 Minutes. This is a combination of the game's trial and error puzzle mechanics and cinematic storytelling.
In a world where you complete all puzzles at the first attempt, the game could be as short as an hour, much closer to the 12 Minutes that were advertised!

If you're not sure if 12 Minutes is for you or just want to know how it works, we've got the game's official description and trailer for you down below.
"What should be a romantic evening with your wife turns into a nightmare when a police detective breaks into your home, accuses your wife of murder and beats you to death... Only for you to find yourself immediately returned to the exact moment you opened the front door, stuck in a Twelve Minute time loop, doomed to relive the same terror again and again... Unless you can find a way to use the knowledge of what’s coming to change the outcome and break the loop. Twelve Minutes is an interactive narrative that blends the dream-like tension of The Shining with the claustrophobia of Rear Window and the fragmented structure of Memento.
