That leaves us with only a few hours before it's time, which means it's worth making sure everything is downloaded and updated!

How to Reserve Your Name in Season of Mastery

The World of Warcraft Classic Season of Mastery name reservation will be done similarly to how WoW Classic name registration was done previously - that is through WoW Classic in your Battle.net client. This time, however, there will be a new Seasonal tab for the WoW classic realm selector where youu'll see Season of Mastery.

To be ready, you'll want to log in as soon as possible to make sure no server problems keep you from reserving, as every minute counts when securing the name you'll hear in Discord for the next year.

Season of Mastery Servers

WoW Classic Season of Mastery will have a limited number of servers in comparison to the original WoW Classic launch, though this might expand post-launch depending on player population counts.

THE FIGHT IS ON: New difficulty will amplify the raid bosses of WoW Classic

Players have had the opportunity to feel the content out early however thanks to the Season of Mastery beta - which lets players test with no restrictions.

This has also included generating level 60 characters to try raids as well - and we've seen the chaos of Onyxia and Molten Core plenty across Twitch and YouTube during the beta.

On launch day though, things will get serious, and the grind will be on once servers settle.

With the chaos of a Blizzard launch day firmly in the mind of World of Warcraft veterans, don't be surprised if players don't get the chance to play the game with any regularity until Tuesday night as servers settle and the content is pushed live.
