Agent 22 in Valorant has had some more information revealed with their name and role revealed.
This has all come from an insider source leaked by @ValorLeaks who is well known for their accurate information.
It is expected that the new agent will be revealed at the grand finals for their esports event, LOCK//IN.
However, as this isn't official information from Riot Games, we should be taking these details with a pinch of salt.
But, they do provide some insight as to what the new agent may play and feel like in the game.

Valorant Agent 22 Leaked Name and Role
@ValorLeaks has revealed some new information for the next agent to join the Valorant roster in 2023.
We now have leaks for the name of the new agent and it seems to fit the teasers we have so far.
So, the name of the new agent in Valorant may be Gekko and their role is expected to be an initiator.
The small teaser we have features some bright colours and looks like a much more vibrant agent.
So, Gekko seems to be a fitting name for the 22nd agent in the game.

Agent 22 Reveal Evening in LOCK//IN Finals
Despite the excitement around the leaks, there has also been some official information about the new agent officially from Riot.
In a post on the Valorant esports site, there was a direct mention to the new agent being announced in the LOCK//IN finals.
"VALORANT players around the world are in for a treat this Saturday during the final day of VCT LOCK//IN, as a new Agent will be revealed before Grand Finals."
The finals take place on March 4 2023. So, definitely tune into the event to get an early look at agent 22 in the game.
