Befriend All Farm Animals

The Cottage Living cheat aims to set your relationship to the max with all animals. So, with cheats enabled, pick an animal and SHIFT and right-click on them, you can then choose the 'Cheat Relationship' and 'Set Max Friendship' options.

Spawn Rabbits/Bunnies

With cheats enabled, you just need to SHIFT and right-click the ground where you want the Rabbit to spawn and choose 'Create Animal' then 'Create Rabbit'.

There is no limit to how many times you can use this Cottage Living cheat.

Spawn Coloured Rabbits

Similar to the spawn cheat, you can hit SHIFT and click on the Wild Rabbit Home and select 'Create Rabbit In Home (Debug)'. Only five can be spawned per home and they are spawned in random colours.

For this cheat, with cheats enabled you want to hit SHIFT and right-click on the Sim you want to, well, kill. Select the option 'Kill' then 'Be Slain By A Vicious Killer Rabbit'.

Once your Sim has perished, you can have them also become a ghost but I doubt they'll want to be reminded how they died.

Unlock all Recipes and get all Animal Treats

With cheats enabled you to want to hit SHIFT and right-click the fridge in your Sims home and select 'Animal Treat Cheats'.

This will allow you to unlock all recipes, get all the treats right there and then or make the ingredients to make the treats.

Cottage Living Trait Cheats

To unlock the Cottage Living trait cheats you'll need to enter some codes into the cheat console. Open this using the method above and use the following cheats;

  • traits.equip_trait trait_Nature_Country - Nature Conversationalist trait
  • traits.equip_trait trait_AnimalEnthusiast - Animal Enthusiast trait
  • traits.equip_trait trait_LactoseIntolerant - Lactose Intolerant trait (yes, you're evil if you do this to your Sim)

Cross-Stitch Cheat

Cottage Living also comes with one new skill, Cross-Stitching and you can max it out using cheats. It's another code cheat, so you will need to have the cheat console open and type in the following;

  • stats.set_skill_level Skill_CrossStitch 5 - This maxes out the Cross Stitch skill

Create Evil or Golden Chickens

For this cheat, you must already have a chicken coop built. Once you have this, with cheats enabled you can hit SHIFT and right-click on the coop and select 'Create Hen In Coop (Debug)'

This isn't guaranteed to produce evil or golden chickens, but it has a small chance and the cheat is repeatable.

Add Eggs to Chicken Coop

This is a fairly simple one and again just requires Cottage Living cheats to be enabled. When this is done, hit SHIFT and right-click on your chicken coop and select 'Create Egg'.

Get All Animal Clothing

If you're after all of the fancy new animal clothing that comes with the Cottage Living expansion, we've got the cheats for that too! With cheats enabled just click on any animal and select 'Get All Animal Clothes (Debug)'.
