After launching its first collaboration with adidas towards the end of last year, Yu-Gi-Oh! is back teaming with the brand once again, this time to drop a new pair of Adi2000 sneakers.
adidas' announcement confirms the shoes are themed around one of the main protagonists, Yami Yugi, with references to Millennium Items, Exodia, and Yugi himself throughout.
Not only that, but the collaboration includes a limited co-branded Dark Magician card alongside the shoes, arguably one of the most used cards in Yugi's deck.
Referencing Dark Magician also means this Yu-Gi-Oh! collaboration follows on from the Yugi Adi2000s released last year, which featured graphics of the legendary Dual Monster.
With last year's drop up there as one of the best sneaker collabs of 2022 though, this new Adi2000 release has a lot to live up to. That being said, here's everything we know about the Yu-Gi-Oh! x adidas Adi2000 so far...
Yu-Gi-Oh! x adidas Adi2000 release date
It's only been a few months since adidas released its last Yu-Gi-Oh! collaboration, but it looks as though the brand is keen to get the second out as soon as possible.
According to the aforementioned adidas announcement, the Adi2000 sneakers are out now as of 26 January 2023.
Unlike the last drop, which saw Seto-themed Adi2000s and Slides debut alongside Yugi's, it appears only one Adi2000 design is being released this time around.

Yu-Gi-Oh! x adidas Adi2000 design
As touched on earlier, the Yu-Gi-Oh! Adi2000 is themed around Yami Yugi, with shoes featuring several nods to the protagonist throughout.
The bulk of the shoe is dressed in black, but gold, pink, and purple feature as well in reference to Yugi's appearance in the anime.
More specifically, the side stripes arrive in a metallic gold tone, while the lining is made from a dark pink material. Parts of the rubber outsole and the laces then come dressed in purple to complete the overall colour scheme.
There are a ton of subtle Yami Yugi details to mention as well. For instance, the eye from Yugi's Millennium Puzzle features underneath the laces, while the laces themselves are complete with Millennium Item jewels.
You also get the last piece of Exodia as a hangtag, plus the tongues split their branding between the phrases 'Time to Duel' on the right shoe and 'King of Games' on the left.
Finally, the box the shoes come in features a special-edition design inspired by, once again, the Millennium Items that appear throughout the show.
Yu-Gi-Oh! x adidas Adi2000 price
Unlike the release date, the price of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Adi2000 wasn't announced ahead of time.
However, with the shoes out now, we now know that they cost £100 in adult sizing, which is a touch more than the previous Yu-Gi-Oh! Adi2000 release.

The Yu-Gi-Oh! Adi2000 is available right now through the CONFIRMED app and through selected retailers.
