The long-rumoured Air Jordan 1 High "Heirloom" colourway has been revealed by Nike featuring a design that honours the look that redefined basketball and off-court style.
Although Jordan has experimented with some of its recent designs, several OG high-tops have dropped in recent months, including the Bulls-themed "Heritage" colourway and the grey and black "Stealth" edition.
The "Heirloom" design is another to add to this growing list, combining a unique blend of black leather with Vachetta Tan unlike some of the best Air Jordans before it.
That doesn't mean the "Heirloom" colourway isn't great though. In fact, it could be one of the best we've seen from Jordan in recent months. Here's everything we know about the sneakers so far...
Air Jordan 1 High OG Heirloom Release Date
According to Nike's launch details, the "Heirloom" 1s are available now exclusively at Nike and select partner doors as of September 23 2022.
A full list of partner stores can be found under the launch details, with details for each state in the US listed.
Air Jordan 1 High OG Heirloom Design
These "Heirloom" sneakers draw inspiration from some of the best Jordan 1 colourways around with their high-top silhouette and OG design.
Although we're yet to see any official images, leaked photos of the sneakers showcase the black canvas base layer and tanned leather overlays in detail.
Below the contrasting uppers, you get white midsoles, a regular Jordan 1 design feature, and desert tan rubber outsoles.
Furthermore, you'll notice the Jordan 'Wings' insignias debossed into the tanned ankle flaps upon closer inspection and blended tongue tabs which camouflage into the black backgrounds.
The shoes then appear to sit on top of the usual Nike Air units contained within the midsoles, thus rounding off these OG sneakers in typical Jordan 1 fashion.
Air Jordan 1 High OG Heirloom Price
The "Heirloom" colourway is priced at $170, which aligns with the usual cost of a pair of Jordan 1 Highs at the moment in time.
Prices may differ at selected partner stores, so keep this in mind when you're going to pick up a pair.
Where To Buy The Air Jordan 1 High OG Heirloom
Other than the selected partner stores, you should be able to find the "Heirloom" high-tops at the Nike store under the new releases, Jordan, or basketball subsection.
You can also find the shoes listed on the SNKRS launch page right now as an alternative place to buy them.
You could also try the resale market at StockX if your initial attempt at purchasing a pair is unsuccessful come release day.
